“Fantastic Holiday” The apartment was well equipped, spotless and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for Tracey, the very pleasant lady who was there to answer any queries during our stay - she even leant us a coolbox to take to the beach! The location is great for access to the nearest beach (a few minutes drive), bars, restaurants and grocery shop. The locals are really friendly, the island pretty and charming and if you like fish, you won't be disappointed. Rent a boat from Mr Shiggidy Shack and try a Killer Bee or two on Nevis!

“Secluded paradise” We spent 10 days in the Turtle Beach House. This was our first time on St Kitts and we couldn't have hoped for a better introduction. The house is perfectly located near the beach, with a view of Nevis, but without the hassle of the sand. It receives a constant gentle breeze, which we prefer to using the a/C. There is ample space on the veranda and in the the pool to enjoy life from morning to sunset. You can walk easily (10mn) to the Reggae Beach Bar and to Spice Mill a bit further. Both restaurants have excellent food. The last stretch of road to reach the house is dirt, and while it was easy enough with a regular car, I would recommend getting an SUV or small 4x4 for more comfort. Outside of the house, there are plenty of things to see and do on the island, or off (catamaran day trip was fun). There are plenty of other excellent restaurants and nice beaches. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Turtle Beach House to all of my friends going to St Kitts, we had a wonderful time.

“Sealofts Frigate Bay St. Kitts” For the last 8 years I have rented a condo/duplex at Sealofts for the winter months. I would not be going back each year unless I thought I was getting the best bang for my buck in the Caribbean. Each unit at Sealofts is different. Not all owners rent out their condos and they are all equipped and maintained differently. Each year I check out other rental properties throughout the Caribbean and I can never find anything better. The units are not huge but they give you a feeling of spaciousness. The unit I rent is well maintained and well equipped. While there is only my wife and I living in the unit (Unit 16), we appreciate the two bedrooms and the two bathrooms. It gives me great pleasure to sit at the table eating my meals and being able to look out the windows and see the beautiful floweres in the well kept gardens. If I ever have any problem with the unit it is quickly resolved by the condo management team. Over the years the location has actually gotten better. There is now a convenient mini mart a few minutes walk away and several restaurants. I mainly go to the Saint Kitts for the superb climate. It is never uncomfortably cool or hot. The steady trade winds keep it comfortable. Of course, after all this time I feel part of the Sealofts community and enjoy the social interaction with a large group of condo owners who have become friends. We all feel safe there and comfortable. The only negative I can think of might be the spiral staircases. I actually like them and have no trouble using them with my arthritic knees but they would be a concern for parents with very small children.I am planning to be back in January.
