“Home away from home!” Jean was a fantastic host. She help us out any way she could and also was great for conversation. The house was perfect for a group of 7 of us. Very clean, spacious, and close to town and the beach. Can't wait to return!

“Fantastic” The space was clean, very accommodating for our group which included two young boys. The proximity to the beach couldn't have been better with the natural tide pool that helped protect the boys from the waves. My husband thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling and seeing the iguanas all over was a favorite morning ritual for my oldest boy and husband. The upper deck with grill was perfect for evening meals. My boys really liked the beach toys that were provided. Perfect getaway from cold michigan.

“A week in Paradise” I'm almost afraid to write this review because I want this house to be available for our next trip! It's like discovering a beautiful hidden gem and you want to covet it! We reserved the top floor 2 Br portion of the beach house for our 11 year wedding anniversary. There aren't that many pictures available online so we didn't really know what to expect. We were blown away. The first moment I saw the view from the balcony I felt like we had died and gone to heaven! The beach was right in our backyard! The water was clear blue and calm. We pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves. We spent our days swimming in the sea and collecting sea glass. There are fisherman next door. When you see them come in with their catch for the day, you can buy fresh fish directly from them. We bought a delicious pink snapper that we cooked on the grill.I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night. Every morning when I woke up and caught a glimpse of the view from the bedroom window I had to pinch myself because I thought I was still dreaming. I was in bliss for 7 days straight. That being said, If you are someone that needs luxury and likes five star resorts. This is not the place for you. This beach house has a more rustic charm. Everything you need is here. Stove, Microwave, toaster, Washing machine, Clothes lines, grill, towels, toilet paper and there was even some toiletries left over from previous guests that really came in handy. There is a TV here, but we didn't need it not when you have the ocean in your backyard. We spent our nights together gazing up at the stars instead. You can really move in and experience what it would be like to live in the Caribbean. Joe is incredibly helpful and available if you need him. The town is less than 10 minutes away with amazing restaurants and some nice nightlife on the weekends. I definitely recommend La Cambija for the pinchos. They're incredible! Hands down. Best anniversary we have ever had. Thank you Joe! We'll be back!

- Rincon Pottery: This working studio is located in Cruces, just outside of Rincon. Visitors can view pottery for sale and on display, as well as watch hand-building and wheel-throwing demonstrations.
- The Higuero Lighthouse: Also known as the Rincon Lighthouse, this structure was constructed by the Spanish in 1892 and rebuilt with concrete after an earthquake weakened it in 1922. Today it sits atop a small park and features an exquisite view of Desecheo Island and the sea.
- The Maritime Museum: This museum showcases platforms for spotting whales and dolphins. It is located in El Faro Park, a beautiful and scenic spot to take in all of Rincon's spectacular sunsets.
- Tres Palmas Marine Reserve: This area features a coral beach and many tropical fish right off its shore. Farther out there are even more varieties of marine life, including amazing elk horn and brain coral. It is an ideal spot for snorkelling.
- Sandy Beach: This spectacular beach showcases amazing waves for surfing and swimming. There are also plenty of spots that feature unique sea glass.
