Lovingly restored barn ... Enjoy a dip in the cool Maar (lake 30m), the sunset at the Castle (80 m) or a visit to the Nürburgring (18 km). Hiking and biking trails lead through elms. The small town of Ulmen is just off the A48 and is the ideal starting point for trips from Koblenz to Trier as well as from the Moselle to the Eifel National Park. There is plenty of supermarkets and bakeries and some nice restaurants. The house is situated in the old and quiet part of elms and combines old with the modern. Our MaarZauber offers 110 sqm upscale amenities: open kitchen and dining area with gallery, living room with 2 comfortable sofa beds, double bedroom and bathroom, bedroom with 4 single beds, 2nd bathroom on the ground floor, washing machine, dishwasher, cot The old barn, located in the historic heart of the town between the castle and Maar, was gradually lovingly restored. In MaarZauber combine tradition with comfort, convenience with openness. Solid oak doors, wooden stairs, stone walls and arches give the feeling of living close to the castle. Still, you can enjoy in the comfort MaarZauber of the 21st century, as modern bathrooms, sliding glass door and a spacious open kitchen. With its special features and attention to detail, a feel-good location in the heart of the Eifel was a former barn. Our wish is that our guests feel after opening the door instantly at home. This includes of course also made beds, a towel set and kitchen towels. WiFi: Please note that we have chosen a mobile wireless router for technical reasons, the works on the D mobile network. This has a certain amount of credit to GB. If this contract balances be exhausted at the end of the month, the transfer rate is reduced. It is also possible that the reception in the house is not reduced or possible in some places. We ask for your understanding. Free Wi-Fi can also be found in the market place at the town hall and the restaurant Bürgerstube (50 m). Please note that the living room and the 4-person bedrooms are connected by an open staircase. There is no door in the 4-person bedroom. 1st floor right Bedroom: parquet floor, double bed (1.80 m), large sliding closet, bordered with adjoining, open laundry area with plenty of counter space and cabinets, hairdryer bathroom: bathtub, toilet, bidet, hand soap, toilet paper for the start of the second floor ( accessible via stairs in the living room) bedrooms: 4 single beds (sliding), a laundrette Please note that the living room and the 4-person bedrooms are connected by an open staircase. There is no door in the bedroom. There are smoke detectors in the living and sleeping areas, and a CO2 detector in the attic. Outside: small, paved courtyard with sitting, small table 1 parking in the yard garage (suitable only for the insinuation of bicycles, fishing gear, etc.), lockable Please note: Adjacent to the apartment hypnosis practice my wife Sandra Michels, naturopath for psychotherapy. Access to the office is located in the courtyard. The practice is not in regular use is a separate part of the building. In the apartment you are so completely undisturbed. We are delighted to learn to know our guests and therefore prefer the personal reception with keys (German, English or French). If there is a problem during your stay, we are reachable by phone and usually quickly spot, since we live in Ulmen. In the house an information booklet is made with all important addresses, leisure activities and shopping.
