Plan your next outdoor excursion to this modern 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom homestead in the Desert Heights area of Twentynine Palms, situated a few miles from the 29 Palms Marine Base and minutes from the North Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park! This 5 acre property offers guests two covered patios (outdoor fireplace and BBQ on back patio) with several areas to relax and enjoy the desert views.

Before we start, here are 4 THINGS PEOPLE LOVE about the homestead:

1 - The LOCATION is secluded and has amazing views.

2 - We have AIR CONDITIONING to keep you cool during the warmer summer days.

3 - We are CLOSE to everything. We are within minutes of Joshua Tree National Park, downtown Twentynine Palms and the Twentynine Palms Marine Corp Base.

4 - PETS welcome. We charge an additional $25 pet cleaning fee as part of our "Cleaning Fees". If you do not bring any pets with you, we will adjust your reservation fee accordingly.

Here are 5 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting:

1 - This unique property features 2 separate homes and a vintage travel trailer that are not connected and are very PRIVATE. They do share common spaces of the property for guests to wander, explore and enjoy. Check out The Bungalow https://www.**********/rooms/********

2- Although neighbors are somewhat distant, sound travels far in the desert. NO PARTIES are permitted in our home at any time during your stay.

3 - We ask all our guests to RESPECT the neighbors and to not be loud or yell or play loud music inside and outside the building at any time during their stay. Also, we expect our Guests to be quiet after 10:00 PM. So if you intend to behave with respect our place is for you.

4 - You will have to travel BRIEFLY on a dirt road to get to the property. The dirt road is well maintained and easily driveable by most vehicles.

5 - Commercial Shoots: anything other than guests taking a few photos themselves for personnel use to share with immediate family and friends constitutes a commercial shoot and a license permit must be purchased along with a county permit, for any reproduction, posting, prints, advertising, or film is not allowed with out purchasing permits.We do allow requests for COMMERCIAL FILMING/PHOTOGRAPHY at a flat rate of $500.00 per day on top of the nightly rate if you wish to stay on the property. Commercial filming and photography is the use of motion picture, videotaping, sound-recording, DSLR/SLR or any other type of moving or still image or audio recording equipment that involves the advertisement of a product or service or the use of actors, models, musicians, sets, or props is PROHIBITED unless you have permission from us; have obtained all the proper SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY PERMITS; and have proper INSURANCE COVERAGE. You cannot exceed the guest limit of 6 staying in the space and parking is limited to three (3) vehicles on the property at all times. Additional guests or crew must leave the property by 8 PM. We advise you to contact us PRIOR TO BOOKING to discuss any plans for commercial filming/photography on the property.

Master Bedroom: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Full Bed | Living Room: Couch plus we can set up to two single beds upon request.

As you drive onto the property, you can't help but notice the galvanized metal covered structure that is the Homestead. The covered front patio decked out in flagstone greets you as you approach the home. Take a moment to look around you and you'll see Joshua Tree National Park off in the distance. If your lucky, perhaps our resident roadrunner will grace you with his/her presence.

Step inside to our modern desert retreat, complete with 2 bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms. As you step down into the dining room, you can't help but notice the custom made dining room table that seats 8 and just beyond that, french doors lead you out to the back covered patio with a dining table, BBQ, and outdoor fireplace, perfect for entertaining outdoors.

Walk out a little further and you can explore the boat yard and the views of the 29 Palms Marine Corp base and the Bullion Mountain range. At night, you can warm yourself by the outdoor fireplace while enjoying the star studded skies above.

The next morning, start your day by enjoying a warm cup of coffee on the front patio, taking in the view of the sun rising to the east over JTNP and breathe in the exceptional clear air of the desert while watching for wildlife that call the desert their home.

When you start to get hungry, head inside and prepare a delicious breakfast for everyone in the well-equipped kitchen with a 5-burner electric stovetop, oven, microwave, and plenty of counterspace for extra cooks in the kitchen.
