From the owner

Capri Manor is a perfect family holiday destination. It has an amazing location being only 2-3 minutes walk from the stunning Gibbs beach and is close to historic Speightstown on the West Coast of Barbados.

It has 4 bedrooms, all en-suite, and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens with a large family-size swimming pool and a jacuzzi. There is a lovely sun terrace around the pool with loungers. The house sleeps 8: three of the bedrooms are doubles and there is one twin room (and one of the doubles can be separated into a second twin room) and all are fully air-conditioned. There is a lovely feeling of space downstairs with the large hallway and living area, all opening out onto a spacious covered outside seating and dining area. Inside there is a second sitting room with a TV and a well equipped kitchen.

A housekeeper is provided as are towels and linens. A cook is provided for two consecutive meals (breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner) for 6 days a week (excluding Barbados Holidays).

The closest beach is Gibbs bay, a 2 minute walk from the house. Considered one of the best beaches on the island it is perfect for swimming with its calm, clear water, or sitting and watching the beautiful sunsets. Next door is Mullins Beach where there is a beach bar and you can rent loungers and umbrellas.

Speightstown, 3.5km away, is a vibrant town with a supermarket and a good selection of restaurants and local banks.

Holetown, 5.6km away, has a number of shops including the Chattel Village shops which sell local art, craft and fashion. It also has numerous restaurants and designer shops.

The airport is 32km away and a taxi can be arranged or car hire, which can be collected from the airport or delivered to the house.

There are a number of Golf courses nearby (Royal Westmoreland, Sandy Lane and Apes Hill).

Please note that the house is located on the coast road which you may be able to hear.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Josie (the owner) a message.

If Josie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
