“Excellent place to spend holidays in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2015

I stayed at Oceania Bay Village with the company of my spouse and a friend for 10 days after recommendations from my friends who stayed there last summer and it completely fulfilled all my expectations. The apartment contains everything we needed and have enough space to accommodate 4 people + additional guests on the couches. Especially great was the balcony, which is very large so can be easily used for BBQ, or for enjoying sundowns with a nice mountain view. Locationwise, the nearest beach is about 2 kilometers away (which is very big, clean and never crowded), and there are some others nearby, so it is better to have a car while staying there. The place itself is very quiet (perfect for those who are tired of big cities and seeking for a relaxing atmosphere), because there is nothing right there, which could attract crowds of tourists or just noisy people. However, we could get all we needed and enjoy some city life in the big city of Larnaca approximately 10-15 minutes away by car. There is also a Liddle shop about 5 minutes by car, and some small shops in the nearest village Pyla. The personnel at Oceania is very friendly, happy to support upon any requests. The checking-in and checking-out procedures were organized in a very convenient way. So generally, I will definitely go there again next time I am going to spend my vacation in Cyprus, and encourage the others to do the same.

“Beautiful Apartment , A Home from Home!!”

Reviewed 16 Dec 2014

We booked this apartment at short notice due to some unexpected family issues that arose in Cyprus.Helen the owner could not have been more helpful or professional in organising everything for us with George the apartment manager meeting us at 8 pm on a Saturday evening to ensure we understood everything in the apartment & to make us feel at home. The apartment is very spacious & beautifully appointed with a large terrace & in a very convenient spot, with some lovely restaurants & take aways close by,though you do need a car to take full advantage . The apartment is very homely & welcoming & not like you`re usual holiday rental, so much so that we actually found ourselves looking forward to going back there in the evenings which can`t be said of the majority we`ve stayed in. We would have no hesitation in staying here again should we be visting the area again in the future.

“Brilliant apartment to rent.”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2014

We had a two week stay at this apartment and it was like home from home. Big ans spacious ,spotlessly clean, all facilities supplied. The balcony was spacious with terrific mountain views and fabulous sunsets. We had a car rented but the bus came at regular intervals to just outside the complex. We certainly would have no hesitation recommending this apartment to family or friends.

“Amazing, loved it, can't wait to come back!”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2014

We stayed for 10 days in this apartment with our two children (5 and 9) and had an amazing time. The apartment is very well maintained and has all of the amenities we needed. It was a pleasure dealing with Helen as well as with the property manager in Cyprus. The apartment is located in a very central location, close to lots of what you need and far enough away to be quiet and restful. All of these factors put together made it a lovely experience for all of us. We could relax and eat on the huge balcony or go down to swim at one of the two pools on premises. Watch a bit of TV or read a book (good cable tv and wireless internet in the apartment). When we wanted a little excitement, it was only a 5 minute drive to all of the restaurants and pubs of Oroklini, 15 minutes from Larnaca boardwalk and 25 minutes from Ayia Napa. There was never a dull moment. We would absolutely recommend this place to our friends or anyone else. We will surely be coming back!

“Relax & enjoy.”

Reviewed 23 Jul 2014

I love this place. Good for vocation time. Clean rooms, new interior and unbelievable huge balcony-paty. Nice view to mountains. Is not close to the touristic area, but quiet place is much more appreciated. The car is definitely required for me - closest beach is in 1.3 km (KOT, can be reached by bus), closest big supermarket - 8 km (Lidl). Of course you can use bus instead, but car is more flexible. The required places to visit: Fig Tree Bay (Protaras area, 35- 40 min driving) Konnos beach (Protaras area, 35- 40 min driving) Landa beach (near the Aqua Park, 25 min driving) Makronissos beach (near the Aqua Park, 25 min driving) My regards to Helen & George. Ciao folks. Cyprus wait for me - I'll be back!

“Very relaxing time with great scenery and not too far from a pleasant beach and bar/restaurant strip”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2014

This is a clean, spacious apartment with all the amenities and a lovely veranda. A great place for families with two pools (in and outside) on the complex and anyone who wants a busy nightlife can take a fairly short cab ride into Larnaca.

“The accommodation as perfect and very well equiped”

“A relaxing and brilliant holiday”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2014

The apartment was an excellent, fully functional accommodation, which made the holiday an enjoyable stay. The facilities included a beautiful balcony to enjoy both for meals and relaxing in the sun. The location was a quiet place, but within a suitable distance to shops, towns, sea and main Larnaca itself. The complex was clean and tidy at all times

“Fantastic few days at the Oceania Bay Village in Pyla, Cyprus”

Reviewed 18 Oct 2013

We arrived late on Sunday night, picked up the hire car and followed Helen's instructions to the apartment - they were spot on (we normally manage to get lost a few times and it only took us 25 minutes!). There's security doors and a lift! (Brilliant if you have loads of luggage, kids or can't get around easily) The apartment is very light, airy and spacious with all mod cons. This apartment could easily sleep 6. There's a small balcony in the main bedroom and a larger one off the kitchen, but the sun terrace off the main lounge is amazing. There are sun loungers and patio table/chairs and a BBQ. The weather was brilliant so we did spend time lazing around out there! (You can see the sea and the Troudos Mountains from the sun terrace). Outside there is a lovely communal pool (an indoor one too!) The old town of Pyla is a short drive away where there's a few cafes and shops. (We had a good English breakfast at Chesters - next door to the supermarket). The main strip where all the restaurants are was again, only a short drive away. Loads of restaurants to choose from suiting every budget. Beach lovely - loads of things to see and do within a short drive. We will be back!!!

“Summer autumn in Pyla”

Reviewed 8 Oct 2013

I would like to say my kind regards to Helen. Her apartment in Pyla is realy nice place for vacation. We were be ther with a big company it's 7 persen and one infant and this is not a problem. In aparment very big terrase and it's cool because some people can sleep on the sun bed and also terasse it's central place in apartment. Pyla is a quiet place and if you want to have some fan you need a car and go to the beach (1.2 km) ther is a lot of tavern, bars... The KOT beach is very big, clean and nice. I recommend to stay in Pyla with family and children it's quiet and safety place. I want come back in Pyla!
