The Valencian Country region

The Northern Costa Blanca is truly a beautiful place with many wonderful places to see and visit. There are many local towns to visit within easy reach of the villa such as Moraira, Altea and Calpe. The fantastic theme parks of Terramitica, Terranatura and the water world of Aqualandia near Benidorm and Alicante are well worth a visit as is the Oceanographic near Valencia. The city of Valencia is only 40 minutes away by train so why not take a trip there for the day while visiting the area, it is a lovely city and very vibrant. The city of Alicante is also worth a visit and it only 1 hours drive away, with is wonderful beaches and also many shops in which to browse.

Pedreguer

Denia and Javea are located on the northern Costa Blanca, this is a truly beautiful part of Spain with its rugged coast line and wonderful mountains and lush landscape. The beautiful cosmopolitan resort of Denia (10 to 15 mins away) has long sandy beaches which do not get crowed even in the height of the summer. The newly built marina is a great place to dine during the day or night. Its a great places to just sit and have a drink or a great meal in the sunshine while admiring the beautiful yachts bobbing around on the Med. The restaurants are all very well priced. Denia itself has many restaurants in which to enjoy all types of cuisine to suite all pallets and pockets. Alternatively you can visit the local fish market and buy the catch of the day, return to the comfort of your own villa to BBQ, while admiring the twinkling lights in the distance and the peaceful warm summer evenings...perfect.In the main streets of Denia you will find some wonderful Designer shops in which to browse.Javea is also a beautiful coastal resort and again there are wonderful restaurants and shops in which to wonder, particularly in the old town, Arenal and the port. There are many restaurants to visit locally too in Pedreguer and Gata de Gorgos (just a couple of minutes away). There is a couple of Italian restaurants, a couple of Spanish restaurants, bars and a chinese restaurant in Gata de Gorgos. It truly is a wonderful area.

“Relaxing villa to feel at home with lovely views”

Reviewed 11 Nov 2015

Lovely villa with all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay. We were there for a month and from the moment we arrived we felt at home. We had a lovely welcome pack of essentials milk water wine and beers. The property was very clean and had all the items we needed. The owners contacted us to make sure we had everything we needed and the information provided prior to our stay and the iinstructions on using things like TV, cooker, and washing machine etc were spot on. Recommendations for places to visit and restaurants etc by previous visitors were also useful. We loved our time there, very relaxing. You wil need the use of a car as shops and restaurants are too far away to walk to.

Thanks Gillian, see you in April.

“Exceptional”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2015

The personal service given by Michelle & Steve was, as usual, outstanding. Nothing is ever too much trouble ensuring our stay was happy & relaxed. The attention to detail, both inside & out, makes the villa feel like a home, the stylish interior and the additional outside amenities such as cushions on the chairs/sunloungers etc. Michelle's flare for design, from the four poster to the Gazebo, makes this villa stand out. Add to that the quiet location with stunning views & it becomes exceptional!! The least enjoyable...on arrival the driveway, but this became easy to overcome. Next year will be our 5th year of renting from Michelle & Steve and we look forward to another " exceptional " holiday.

“excellent location”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2014

Excellent location, quiet and peaceful. Home from home feel, with modern and traditional touches. Outstanding clean pool (well done Steve) The beds really comfortable, along with lovely pillows and clean bed linen. Nice to have pool towels provided - leaves more room in your case. Lovely sunsets and night time shooting star spotting. Excellent support from Steve and Michelle if anything goes wrong.

“Absolutely marvellous, home from home”

Reviewed 6 Aug 2014

Our stay at your gorgeous villa was just fabulous. It was real home from home. Everything you could need was on hand. The whole group enjoyed the stay and the location was just heavenly. The pool was just excellent and a great size for our party. The small town had everything we needed and the welcome pack of booze and coffee was just right. We had excellent weather for the week and need not have worried if the weather was bad as there was more than enough books, music and games to keep us busy! Nothing was too much trouble for Steven and our "glitches" were fixed straight away. A hire care is a must but once arrived at the villa the views were just glorious. A visit to the "mirador" is a must. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to our family and friends and maybe go back to stay again. Thank you.

“Outstanding”

Quite simply Outstanding. Location wonderful. Excellent well equipped Villa it had everything and more. Spotless Pool... Beautiful Views! We loved the tranquil atmosphere and the slow pace of the day. The weather was amazing throughout the 2 weeks. The stress of our busy professional lives was gone within an hour of arriving. Would we go again... Oh Yes! We've already booked our next holiday.

“Beautiful views.”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2013

The villa is in quite a remote area. Nothing within walking distance. But the beauty of this means total relaxation. Beautiful bathrooms which give that luxury feel. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. No good for anyone with vertigo as the position is high up lending itself to a beautiful view. Mind out for the drive which never failed to turn the air blue.

“Beautiful house, great location, fantastic pool and views.”

Reviewed 6 Aug 2012

Having previously been unfamiliar with Pedreguer, we were unsure as to how convenient the location of this villa would be. We needn't have worried, just a 20 minute (approx) drive into bustling Javea or fantastic Denia, with its stylish marina bars and restaurants, we had plenty of places to eat out when we fancied a change from the spacious poolside terrace and BBQ area. A straightforward drive from Alicante airport (45 mins approx.), Vista del Valle is a magnificent house with uninterrupted views over the valley. The interior is furnished to a high standard, particularly the downstairs annexe, with its 4-poster bed and separate bathroom and kitchen; and everywhere was spotless on our arrival. The pool is great, very clean and just the right size for either a leisurely early morning swim or 2-3 lazy afternoon lilos! The driveway, as you may have read, looks daunting at first glance, but we dealt with it without problems. Any decent car will have no problem in first gear. Vista del Valle gave us a lovely holiday, plenty of relaxation, and a great base to explore the Costa Blanca's more stylish, and less British, resorts and towns. We would happily recommend to any of our friends.

“Excellent Villa with Amazing Views”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2012

We booked the villa online and the communication from Michelle and Steve was superb. When we arrived at the villa it went beyond our expectations. Everything was like new, and VERY clean. You can tell that Steve is a perfectionist, as everything was in its place for our arrival. The addition of the outside gazebo was great and we dined al fresco most nights - using the BBQ as our cooker. By the pool there is also a fridge, which is great to store soft drinks/beer in for when you are outside in the day. The pool was amazing - crystal clear and got warmer every day. All of the bedrooms were very spacious - with plenty of room for clothes in the wardrobes. There's no need to take hangers as they have plenty. The kitchen - although small - was ideal for us and is well stocked with EVERY kitchen utensil you could possibly want. The villa is well lit in the evening - so is lovely to sit out and enjoy a drink - which again we did most nights! I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends or other family members. Thanks both for looking after us - we will be back !

“Relaxing, restful and content”

Reviewed 11 Nov 2011

I have stayed at this villa on 2 occasions now and have always enjoyed it. I've known the owners Steve & Michelle for a number of years and have stayed at a number of their villas - depending upon the size of my group. Both Steve & Michelle are lovely people and have always taken of me and my family. The villas are spacious and allow you to get away from the crowds. Always had a pool and a clean well looked after villa. i usually go in June every 2 years when the World Cup or Euro football in taking place. They have BBC and ITV so you can keep in touch with the world and not be limited to Spanish tv. The towns of Javea and Denia are very close by car and both are lovely places to eat in the evening. Javea has a lovely sandy beach which is popolar and Denia has a brand new marina full of nice restaurants. I'd always recommend Steve & Michelle to anyone - helpful and considerate and reasonable rates as well. If you hate hotels and crowds, grab yourself a piece of (reasonably priced) personal space with the footie beamed to your own sofa. Well worth it and Javea is only 1 hour from Alicante airport.Valencia is 1 hour north which is a lovely city to visit - especially the old town. I'd be very surprised and very sceptical of anyone who gave "spanishvillas.gb" a negative review. They'd be very much mistaken. As Spinal Tap might say - the rating for Steve & Michelle goes all the way up to eleven!!

“Modern, clean, very well equipped villa- great communication- superb rental experience.”

Reviewed 27 Oct 2011

This villa was clean, modern and very well equipped. Lovely pool and great views. Owners seem very thoughtful and flexible. Communication with them was great during booking process. Very well organised rental. The villa really did have everything we needed and was as per the description. Car hire is essential as there is nothing within walking distance. Supermarket and restaurants just a short drive away. Sandy beaches and pebbly coves all along the coast. Just writing this makes me want to be back! A great holiday.
