Pine trees surround the whole deck, which at one side of the house rises 14 feet from the ground. This makes this out door space very private and ample enough for a small wedding. The Neighborhood
The house is located in the community of Summit Park along Interstate 80 half way between Salt Lake City ( 22 miles or 25 minutes ) and Park City 12 miles or 15 minutes). It is surrounded with mature, tall pine trees and each home of the neighbors is spaced away from each other and the natural barriers of the mature trees the whole area has it provides much privacy and solitude. Its a mountain setting and yet close to both Salt Lake City and Park City. You will need to have your own transportation and 4x4 vehicles are a must during the winter months as the roads in the community are hilly and snow can accumulate quite quickly. The county is very efficient at keeping the roads clear of snow, the tenant that lives in unit downstairs keeps the drive way cleared. The guests are expected to help in clearing snow of the drive way during their stay. The owner will make sure that the drive way is clear of snow on the day of your arrival. There is parking for 1 car in the garage and 4 additional cars in the drive way.
Getting around
Own transportation is required. 4x4 vehicles are highly recommended during winter months. Park off the road during winter months to allow for the snow plows to go by. YOU WILL GET A TICKET if you are parked on the road
1) NO OUTSIDE SHOES OR BOOTS INSIDE AS IT IS HARSH ON THE FLOORS.
2) No loud noises after 10:00 pm. Your neighbors in Summit Park choose to live there for the quietness, solitude and tranquility that mountain living offers.

3) The owner is often willing to clear snow from the drive way, however in a snow storm everyone is expected to help in clearing snow.
