Our boutique VILLA is 1.5 kms away from the hustle & bustle of the Nasik metropolis.Yet, we are ensconced in nature. Situated on a 2-acre farm, with sprawling lawns, hammocks & antique 'jhoolas' ( swings ) strung under the shade of fragrant frangipani, neem & mango trees emphasize the tranquility at the VILLA. Huge, clean, aesthetically curated rooms, are adorned with antique teak furniture. Treks, lake-swims,temple / heritage / meadow walks, wineries, ornithologists delight, family recipes for meals. BLISS.
YOUR HOSTS : UTTARA & ADWAIT.
Twenty years ago, Uttara and I met while working at the Taj. We wanted to move away from the putrid existence of Mumbai, and thus, moved to a quieter, fresher Nashik. We've had three restaurants in Nashik and now live on our farm on the outskirts of the city.
We have two daughters, who've moved back to the very city that we chose to leave and we're both currently in an empty-nest syndrome mode. That's why we've chosen to open our home to fellow travellers.
We love travelling and have extensively backpacked across India, Europe and America. We love swimming in lakes (Nashik has so many of them), trekking and exploring off-beaten tracks on our bullet mobike.
Designers by profession, the hosts have spared no effort in making their 'nest' into a homely, 'gemutlich' abode, that resonates with positive vibes.
Painstakingly designed & well-executed interiors add to the uniqueness of the villa. Eco-friendly furniture (all hand-crafted from reclaimed, antique teak-wood) with high ceilings, huge windows, with soft, bounced warm light adds to the romance. Good music & a bottle of wine completes the picture inside their home.
On the terrace is the host's in-house furniture & accessories studio, with absolutely lust-worthy artifacts, waiting to be picked up. Gazing at a clear star-lit night in the comfort of an arm-chair on their huge terrace, will want you to come back again & again.
