Secluded in a valley surrounded by thousands of hectares of Protected Forest, our unique retreat is 1km from a pure white sandy beach of clear, turquoise water and one of the most breathtaking coastal roads dotted with many 5 star resorts. A safe, silent space for the independent traveler/digital nomad, the onsite owner offer's guests a “home away from home” in an atmosphere of beauty and solitude. Breakfast is free and for your other meals we provide you 24/7 access to a modern, shared kitchen.

Centrally located to many of the beautiful waterfalls, rain forest drives, surfing beaches, remote islands for snorkeling, (Gili Air, Gili Menu and Gili Trawangan) and Mt. Rinjani for trekkers, it is highly recommended that you rent a scooter to visit these scenic locations as there is no public transportation nearby.

NAUTILUS is an hand carved authentic teak Bungalow. It is cool in the tropical heat and has a queen sized mattress enclosed in a mosquito net, a wall fan, and a modern outdoor bathroom with plenty of hot water.

Your reservation includes a FREE breakfast of LOMBOK coffee, black tea and either banana/papaya pancakes and a fruit platter (seasonal), OR our famous healthy smoothie (mango, banana, or coconut). Cold pressed juices are also available for an additional charge. Breakfast is from 8:30 – 11:00AM.

YOGA

Gypsea Yoga Eco Retreat has a fully equipped Iyengar open-air world-class yoga studio overlooking a heavenly garden. All props are provided including a ropes wall. We have one yoga class per day, Monday to Friday from 8:30 - 10:00am followed by a refreshing detox tea.

WATER

Our water is FREE. We get it from our on-site well that is 80 meters deep and is in the third aquifer. Ten meters of clay, one of the best natural filters, sit's above the aquifer. Our water has been tested in Australia and is free of contaminants and is full of minerals: it is so pure we drink it straight from the taps. There is plenty of on demand hot water with excellent pressure in our western style bathrooms.

SHARED KITCHEN

After the 05 Aug 18 earthquake, we made some positive changes: our renovated, modern kitchen is now open for our guests to use as WE NO LONGER SERVE DINNER. You will be able to access the kitchen with all of the utensils, refrigerator, gas stove-top, pots, plates, etc. on a 24/7 basis to cook your own food. If you wish to use our kitchen to cook your meals a sur-charge will be added to your bill at check out time. Charge is to cover costs such as electricity, LPG gas and sundries.

Please note that we do not sell any snacks/drinks/food onsite after 11:00am, so plan to either eat before you arrive or bring food with you. Alternately, there are many great 5 star restaurants, within a 10 minute ride from here, that offer outstanding local/western cuisine.
