Battaleys Mews is a secure gated community of 30 houses set within lush tropical gardens and exceptionally well maintained grounds including a 40ftx20ft Shared Pool plus Juniors Pool, Bar, Tennis Courts, Gardens with Loungers and a Small Gym, all less than 400m walk from the famous Mullins Beach.

Set on the West "Platinum" Coast on the border of St James and St Peter Parishes, Battaleys is perfectly placed to benefit from plenty of facilities including the Island's premium Mullins & Gibbes beaches and renowned restaurants and attractions.

The property features large open style windows and doors making the whole property feel both light and airy and the decor is to an extremely high specification with high ceilings with fans, coral stone and travertine marble throughout.

Italian Scavolini designer kitchen and Catalano sanitary ware are complmented by Bosch and Smeg Kitchen appliances, providing both an attractive and functional homely environment.

Downstairs through the entrance foyer you'll find a large open plan lounge dining area leading seamlessly to the patio, private plunge pool/jacuzzi and large enclosed private garden and well equipped kitchen as well as a powder room and cupboard.

Above the marble staircase is a large sky-light allowing the light to stream into the landing and stair area, again providing an open light and airy feeling.

Bedrooms feature AC units designed for eco-efficiency and quiet operation, as well as ceiling fans, built in cupboards and mosquito screens/nets to keep the bugs at bay.

The bedrooms and bathrooms feature Conair hairdryers and heavyweight pure cotton towels and Egyptian cotton sheets and linen for maximum comfort. Oversized beach towels are also provided for your convenience.

A maid service is included which will be typically twice a week (or more on request for a small charge) dependng on how many days your stay is and your arrival day.

The house features a discreet but capable technical package providing included high speed fibre Internet (Wired & WiFi), 55"UHD 4K Smart TV, Streaming TV (Netflix/Prime/Crackle), DVD Player, DVDs PS3 with some Games, Premium Bluetooth Soundbar and Bose Sounddock & iPod, just in case you catch a rainy day or just want to sit at home and do nothing!

The Battaleys Mews community is slightly set back from the main coast road thoroughfare meaning there is less road noise and it is also at the end of a cul-de-sac meaning random people passing through is very limited, nevertheless it's easy to become complacent on holiday therefore apart from the gated complex and 24x7 security a large electronically operated safe is provided for you to store your valuables including laptops, tablets etc. and we recommend you keep any valuable items out of view anywhere in the Caribbean.

At the front of each house is a dedicated driveway with ample room for two to three cars. There is a convenience store close to the house and there is a major supermarket with extensive modern shopping facilities a short car/taxi/bus ride away.

Management of the communal swimming pool, bar, small gym, tennis court, children’s play area and landscaped gardens is provided by the admin and security staff who are on-site around the clock.

We would be pleased to assist you with arrangements for your perfect vacation including airport fast track and transfers as well as tours, trips, chef, childcare - pretty much anything you need. Please just ask.

We are pleased to announce the house has just undergone an extensive redecoration and refurbishment and features extensive brand new furnishings for the 2019 season, including new beds, mattresses, bedding, sofas, dining table and chairs, updated decor and accents, new premium small appliances (Coffee Maker, Kettle, Toaster, Blender, Iron) and due to pandemic restrictions, there have been very few guests in 2020 and 2021, so we hope you'll love our new look with all the benefits described above.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Dave (the owner) a message.

If Dave (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
