Description

Peace, tranquility and a home away from home awaits you in our guesthouse, located in the Manjai Kunda area. approx 1 km from the Kuto beach, 3 km from Senegambia and 15 km from Banjul.

Sundowners consist of 5 studio apartments(sleeps 2) and 2 bungalows sleeps(4). It is possible to add extra beds in the apartments and in bungalow B. Most beds can be arranged as dbl or twin beds.

We are a small, privately run guesthouse, under Swedish ownership and English management, who have been in the self-catering accommodation business for many years. Hope to see you soon!

Each bedroom has an en-suite shower room & toilet & living area.
Five of the rooms come with twin beds and three with double beds.

Four of the bedrooms get to use the private sun roof as well as great views from the 'Queen's Balcony. The other 4 bedrooms share a front patio with another bedroom. All bedrooms have a fan and access to fridge and gas cooker.

Each set of new arrivals gets an airport pick-up service, welcome pack, maid service (twice weekly), linen and towels (not beach towels). Staffs are available on-hand 24 hours a day for your personal service. Local guides are available to arrange personal excursions. We have a large swimming pool and 27kva generator as back up for electricity.

“Sundowners Early November”

Great location, close to the buzz of Gambia but tucked quietly away to provide a peaceful haven from it all. Warm, gentle welcome upon arrival. Staff here are pleasant, friendly and professional whilst also respecting your privacy and giving you space. The place was clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. I have plans on returning in the future. Thanks very much for having me and keeping me safe! Oh yeah, the compound is very safe and secure at all times.

We stayed three weeks during the holiday season at the sundowners and gladly recommend that place. We wanted something clean and quite, with a swimming pool that is actually big enough to swim in, we wanted internet as we also intended to work and we wanted a place that is not too big, so that one can feel at home. At the same time it should have sufficient apartments to allow for friends to come and join us for a few days. Sundowners is really beautiful and calm, located in the quieter area of Kotu which is still close enough for the beach and Senegambia. Dave and Bella took care of the place while we were there and they did a great job. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

I could live there. The staff make you feel like family. Every thing is clean, the pool is cleaned daily. And no busters outside giving you trouble. Ok if you want to entertain too. Some places make you feel like your staying in a prison but here it's very relaxed. 100% I will stay on my next visit.

How do damage deposits work?
