From the owner

Domstolat literally means: House-hundred-years. It is an old manson, which has been renovated in such a way that the authentic elements have been preserved: old wooden floors, original tiles, a wood stove in the kitchen and a neo-renaissance tile stove in the living room.

At the same time this holiday home offers the comfort of today: 5 big sleeping rooms, 4 luxury bath rooms, a central heating system, wifi etc.

Ground floor: fully-equipped kitchen, dining room with a large dining table and living room in an antique style. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms with double bed, 2 bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink. Upper floor: 2 Deluxe bedroom with double bed and bathroom ensuite + library with antic furniture.

You can sit, have a nice drink or sunbath on the balcony and overlook the agricultural land and the back of the house and the river Bobr in front of the house.

Please enjoy your own private garden with old apple trees and lots of flowers. Garden furniture, BBC, open fireplace and hammock are there for you.

For the kids the barn is one big playground: sand, swing, table tennis, footballs, badminton, jeux-de-boules, some bikes etc etc.

A safe garage to park your car is included.

The local caretaker Pawel will receive you. He speaks perfectly German and good English. He will guide you to the house (and make a tour with you through the village , if you like, to show the supermarket, nice restaurants etc. Pawel lives nearby in Janowice Wielkie and is always available to provide you with holiday / daytrip ideas, help organise things you need ( for example a fishing permit or a garage..) or explain or fix things in the house if needed. Domstolat has a Dutch owner, who is living in Amsterdam. Pawel is the Polish local caretaker. Quests always write very positive reviews about the house and always mention the great service of Pawel.

House rules

Domstolat is a huge mansion with lots of freedom and space. There are two units under one roof. Domstolat A for max 10 people and Domstolat B for max 6 people.

Each unit has it's own entrance, a living room, fully equiped kitchen, nice spaceous sleeping -and bathrooms, a garden & garage. A and B are seperated with a thick old stone wall, so the privacy of the guests is garanteed. Respect for the neighbours is highly appreciated.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Hubertus (the owner) a message.

If Hubertus (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
