Cambalala Unit 2 is a spacious chalet which sleeps up to 8 people (Maximum: 6 Adults and 2 Children). There are 3 spacious airconditioned bedrooms. Downstairs is an ensuite double room and a semi ensuite twin room. Upstairs is a large, light and airy loft area which sleeps 4 on two single beds and a bunk bed. All rooms have fitted double wardrobes, dressing tables with mirrors and hairdryers.

The loft has a 2 seater sofa, bean bags and flat screen TV, which makes it an ideal separate living area for the kids. There is also a handmade wooden cot for the very little. All bedrooms have ceiling fans in addition to air-conditioning. Linen and towels are provided.

The lounge, with the dining area to the rear, has direct access to the outside entertainment area, which is where you will probably spend most of your time when not out on Safari. There is 1 three seater sofa, 1 two seater sofa, 1 arm chair and a coffee table for your comfort. The flat screen television is housed in a cabinet and French doors open out onto the decking.

The dining area has a 6 seater wooden table. The fully equipped kitchen houses everything you would expect: an oven and hob with extractor fan, washer/dryer, large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. With plenty storage space and granite work surfaces throughout.

The wooden decked entertainment area outside is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon reading a book or an evening cooking and recounting your adventures of the day. Like any truly South African abode Cambalala is equipped with a large built in braai or barbeque with storage and work surfaces to cater for all your al fresco eating needs. Alternatively, there are many great restaurants in the area including the one in the Kruger Park Lodge resort itself.

I had an Amazing time at Cambalala Unit 2. Will definitely come back and the kids loved it too! The lodge itself is exquisite and very close to nature. This is the place if you enjoy some peace and quite & nature.

“Lovely, peacefull stay surounded with beautiful nature.”

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We liked the fact that the impalas came so close to us. The staf was friendly and the apartment clean. We also liked the fact that it is so close to the Kruger National Park.

“Great Lodge in vicinity of Kruger Park”

Reviewed 27 Jan 2015

Great domain with beautiful surroundings complete with golf course, impalas and monkeys. I want to mention we had very good breakfast and dinner, and also friendly service although a bit clumsy at times. Nice pool (but unheated as of end of August). The house was very spacious and had a pleasant "at home" feeling to it. Great terrace with braai-facilities. Wifi only in the lobby and for pay. There is a mall nearby (5 mins by car) where we saw only black people which was a bit of a shock to us as in the lodge were only white guests -- no problems or trouble however. Close to Kruger Park entrance and Skukuza. Great for outings in the area such as Blyde Rivier canyon. Tip: they also book tours onsite.

“Excellent”

A true holiday destination, the rooms are spacious and kept clean at all times. I like the convenience of the location, not far from activities and sight seeing, and that it is a distance from the shopping mall. Friendly staff at reception.
