Description from owner
This lovely 2 bed apartment has all you require for a wonderful relaxing holiday. There is a small balcony to sit, eat and drink, or you could lie out on the large patio areas to take full advantage of the Spanish sun. Then just a short 3 minutes' walk and you will be relaxing by the community pool. Venture a little further and you can be on the blue flag beach at Guardamar (10 minute drive through the lemon groves) Also in Guadamar are two wonderful parks, the Alfonso and the Renia Sofia. The pine trees and sand dunes of the Alfonso Park connect the town to the marina and provide a flat walking and cycling route. The Reina Sofia Park has shady trees, rolling grass hills, manmade ponds and many resident squirrels, ducks, terrapins and peacocks! It has an adventure playground area which is floodlit and the nearby children's funfair and night market (both summer only) make for a good evening out. There are many shops and on Wednesday they have a very busy market. Or why not try the beaches

The Valenciana region
The Costa Blanca boasts one of the best and healthiest climates in the world, along with many Blue Flag beaches, excellent sports opportunities, many festivals and lively nightlife. No wonder so many people are choosing the Costa Blanca for their holiday destination.
You can go to the following web site www.youtube.co.uk/hayesguide to see more details of the area.
For Golfers the La Marquessa Golf Course is a 2 minute drive or a five minute walk down the hill. The newly built championship course of La Finca is an easy 10 minute drive away and Los Ramblas, Villa Martin and Campoamor courses are a short drive down the AP7.
For nature lovers there is an abundance of wild life including flamingos on the nearby salt lakes, and El Recorral a large expanse of open moor a short walk away. For family fun Quesada has its own Aqua Park, (open in the summers months). The apartment also has a communal pool just a two minute walk away which includes a safe toddlers pool area.
A 10 minute drive through orange and lemon groves brings you to the beautiful beaches of Guardamar. The typically Spanish town of Rojales is right next door to La Marquessa Golf Course and the larger town of Torrevieja is a 15 minute drive away, past the large Carrefour super market and brand new shopping centre.
And finally there are Chinese, French, Greek Restaurants, along with the Irish Bar Steak Restaurants and of course Spanish Restaurants all nearby and for those who really want to self cater, a super value supermarket next door to the golf club and a larger Mercadona supermarket between the golf club and Rojales

Quesadas 'Rosa Tours' travel agent run cheap daily coach excursions ranging from shopping trips, Theme Parks to Sight seeing of the many historic sights and cities
Places I like to visit.
Castle De Guadalest -A pretty, unspoilt mountain village founded about 1,000 years ago by Moors who carved terraces out of the rocky terrain to grow crops. The oldest part of the village is only accessible on foot through a tunnel from Casa Orduna under the castle ruins.
The Museo de Micro-miniaturas is an extra ordinary display of oddities you can only see through a powerful magnifying glass. Exhibits include an amazing version of the Goya painting Naked Maja - on the wing of a fly.
Altea, is an ancient Greek town on a low hill north of Benidorm. It was seized by the Romans captured by the Moors then taken for the last time by James 1 of Aragon in 1244 during the Christian recon-quest of Spain,. The town's walls date from this time. They enclose a maze of cobbled narrow and crooked streets and a jumble of white houses. There is a craft market each evening in the summer months and on Tuesday there is a market on the sea boulevard.
Elche – where the discovery of the bust known as the Lady of Elche dates the fortified city back to the 4th Century. Elche has one of the largest palm plantations in the world which dates back to the foundation of the city, some of them over 300 years old. Slightly newer is the very impressive shopping centre with lots of designer stores!!
Murcia – This is an old Arab town surrounded by orchards, and was the centre of the silk industry in the 18th Century. There are many lovely buildings to see such as the Bishops Palace and look out for the casino, a social club erected in 1847 with a sumptuous interior that includes a Moorish-style patio inspired by the Royal Palace at the Alhambra,
Cartagena – not too far down the AP7 which has a beautiful harbour once the home of the Spanish Navy. There are many things to see such as the Auguesteum, a museum preserving the temple where Romans who worshipped the Emperor Augustus met. Nearby is the House of Fortune, the preserved ruins of a Roman home from the 1st century BC.

“Great base for exploring the surrounding areas”
Initially booked for 10 nights but we extended to 16. Apartment was lovely and clean, well equipped and with plenty of space. In very nice friendly neighbourhood and within easy reach of all the facilities of La Marquesa. Other local areas easy to get to by car although we chose long walks instead, to do our property hunting.Would definitely recommend a car for anyone with mobility problems or with children. Great communal pool and we were blessed by good weather throughout. The apartment also provided sun loungers which was much appreciated. No problems at all with key access and we had plenty of friendly advice and assistance from Nigel and Theresa who live upstairs. Overall, very comfortable and affordable accommodation in a lovely area and would happily stay there in future.
“Ideal base for exploring Alicante and surrounding areas”
We stayed in this property for 2 weeks in August 2015 and travelled with two children aged 10 and 12. This apartments provides a comfortable and well-equipped base for any kind of holiday. We explored Alicante and Murcia on short day-trips and even made it to Mundomar in Benidorm which is within easy reach via the motorway. However, most of the time we enjoyed the fantastic beaches of Guardamar or La Mata or simply used the lovely swimming pool on the complex which was always clean and tidy and never particularly busy. Even if you don't wish to go far, you can stay in Ciudad de Quesada and make use of the fantastic golf course (5 minute walk) or hang out in one of the bars or restaurants just next to the golf course. There's also a small, but very well stocked, supermarket nearby. Although there are local buses from Quesada to other towns, we definitely recommend a car. Mainly because it's more convenient but also because a short walk can be very hard work. Quesada is built on the hillsides and the roads are very, very steep and it's tough going getting to near the top of the hill where this property is located. But it's great exercise and the kids loved it. The owner of this property is British and extremely helpful and prompt to reply so booking this place couldn't be easier. The couple who live in the apartment above are also British and are also very friendly and helpful in case you need anything during your stay. Overall, this is a great place if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday in the sun. Don't book it if you want a lively complex with an exciting night life as then you've come to the wrong place. Top tip: There's not a lot of places with good Wi-Fi on the complex. The best place for this is El Marques (Chinese Restaurant) where you can sit outside on their lovely patio and enjoy the yummiest food ever whilst you catch up with people back home on Skype or check in for your flight back to the UK...
Booked this apartment for wedk in April and can honestly say had a wonderful time, appartment was spotless in a lovely location and has everything you need basically home from home... the owner debbie was helpful from the start of the booking all the way through, always responding straight away to my emails ect... theresa who lives above was also very helpful nothink was a bit of bother ... this apartment is excellent value for money, the area itself is lovely, fantastic beaches, eateries, ect and if your a keen golfer you would love the golf course... we hired a car during our stay I recommend this to explore all around as there is plenty of different things to see and do... ( we cannot wait to return and will definitely be booking this apartment again )
Excellent apartment, comfortable, clean English TV and very helpful neighbours. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the G & Ts on the balcony or lower patio in the early evening. Will revisit. Maureen & Patrick
“Good location, great local amenities, and good touring base.”
A good time was had for our two week break at Nicky's apartment. It has all the equipment required for an holiday apartment (the air con was greatly appreciated). Theresa and Nigel helped with settling in issues (local bar etc). Very good location to travel up and down the coast. For the relaxing days locally the community pool was ideal. The local bars and restuarants are second to none. Will be back and recommending to family and friends.
“A little gem on the Costa Blanca”
I had 12 days in this lovely little modern apartment and had a lovely relaxing time, although there is plenty to do if you want. Area was quite, clean and very picturesque. Neighbours were very friendly (thanks to Teresa and Nigel for looking after me) and the pool was perfect. Hope to go back again next year and have recommended it to family and friends. Thank you Nicky for the use.
