The Valencian Country region
The Costa Blanca average of 320 days sunshine which makes this an ideal all year round holiday destination. You will no doubt want to spend time relaxing around the villa and pool but, although not essential, hiring a car for at least part of your stay will enable you to appreciate even more what a lovely part of Spain this is and how much there is to see and do. “Ideal Base for our holiday, every need catered for”
A fantastic villa with all needs catered for. It is hard to describe without experiencing. There was no bad point to the property. I would highly recommend this as a rental property.
Owner's reply: Thanks Fiona for your great review and we look forward to welcoming your family again in the future. Rob
“A wonderfully comfortable and immaculate villa.”
The villa was everything as described and even better. The housekeeper was a lovely lady who was extremely helpful. The villa is ideally positioned for golf and is only a few kilometres from the beaches. Rob and Denise, the owners, were more than helpful and provided us with all the information needed before we left.
Owner's reply: We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Our website descriptions are honest and on arrival our guests are never disappointed. We try to provide a good service from the moment a guest first enquires and we are pleased you found the information useful. Rob & Denise
“Relaxing break in a superb location”
We spent a really relaxing week at Casa Colina. The villa is excellent, very clean and well equipped. The views from the balcony when eating breakfast were worth the visit alone. Every aspect of the rental worked well from communication with the owners to the welcome from the housekeeper. The villa stands atop a steep hill and a car is a must.
“GREAT VALUE FOR A PEACEFUL BREAK”
Have stayed in this villa on several occasions both with friends, family and husband. The villa has everything you need and is lovingly cared for by the owner and housekeeper. Plenty of areas to sit out and enjoy the brilliant sunshine. Communal pool is well looked after, very clean and only used by residents and other rental properties occasionally, so it felt like using our own private swimming pool - great! It is situated in a quiet, residential area. Car would be required if you want to explore a bit further and nearest beach at Guadamar is approximately 10 - 15 mins drive. Well worth it as there is a very large expanse of beach and promenade with sand dunes at one end. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea, including some good value ones. Good shops in the town. However, shorter stays you could manage without a car in our view but you need to be able to walk the 15 minutes up a fairly steep hill, although we managed on a number of occasions, particularly in light of the strick drink drive rules in Spain. It helped to burn the calories too after all the good food. We hope to go again.
