A quick summary of our property: Stunning ocean views + Spacious condo + Beautiful gardens, pool area and secluded beach + The best of 2 worlds (city and tourist destinations).

This condo is part of the Puerta del Mar complex, and our condo is located in the Amara buildings. In Amara you will find beautiful gardens, BBQ areas, a big pool area by the sea, a wonderful palapa with restaurant service at very affordable prices and the beach. It has a fantastic location, as it is an Oceanside property where you can access all the Hotel Zone attractions (hotels, restaurants, Wet-n-Wild, ferries, etc), the downtown area (typical Mexican restaurants, grocery stores, bars, etc) and you are 5 minutes walking distance of the Isla Mujeres ferry terminal. You can have the best of what Cancun has to offer for every taste within 10 to 20 minutes from your vacation home!

The condo is a very spacious (130 m2 = 1,400 sqr feet) with 2 bedrooms (Master bedroom with KS and 2nd bedroom with 3 twin beds) and 2 bathrooms. We also have a TV area, dining room and living room, all with a great views of the ocean. One of our favorites areas of the condo is our big terrace (14 m2 = 150 sqr feet) with an incredible view (as you can see from some of the photos) of the Caribbean Ocean, Isla Mujeres and Cancun's Hotel Zone (we never get tired of having a morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine with this view).

When you rent our condo we will provide you with everything you need for your daily experience: towels, sheets, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, etc. We also have washing and drying machines to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Security in the complex is very good as we have a private security team working on-site 24 hours a day. Regarding groceries, we have a convenience store just across the street and a Walmart grocery (named Superama, very much like a Publix in the USA) within a 5 minute drive.

We are also eager to share with you all our Cancun and Riviera Maya experiences, since we spend more than 3 months a year in the area.

Our property manager will make checking in and checking out a very easy experience and can assist you with questions or needs you could have during your stay with us.

We really think we can offer you a great experience, with a fantastic location in a brand new complex at a very affordable price.

Thank you for staying with us and for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed the view, the (big) size of the condo, and that the complex has a lot to offer. Regarding our location, we think (and most of our guests agree) that it gives you the advantage of having within easy reach the hotel zone (which is 20 minutes away), the downtown area (10 minutes away) and the ferry terminal (5 minute walk) to Isla Mujeres (our favorite spot in the whole area). That allows you to really know Cancun from different perspectives and different choices (at the end, it is you who decides what kind of holiday/activities you want). We are sorry that you found some shortcomings regarding the cleaning process, as we take special care with not only a thorough cleaning process before every check-in but with keeping our condo up to date. To give you some examples, in the last 6-8 months we have a brand new washing/drying machines, whole new furniture for the terrace, new paintings/pictures for all the condo, and new kitchen utensils, among other upgrades. We also have periodic maintenance regarding paint, showers, bathrooms, etc. We appreciate your comments and will pass them on to our property management team. Lastly, we try to accommodate to our guests flight schedule, offering early check-in and late check-out whenever possible. As this is not a hotel, there are no luggage facilities, but we have never had an issue with our many guests through the last 4 years, and we did not receive any petition from you regarding this issue, which we could have found an alternative solution if we have been informed. Why can't I call Humberto (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Humberto (the owner) a message.

If Humberto (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
