About the Old Fort Estate

This estate comprises two fully restored houses, the Plantation House Estate, a fully restored plantation house, once a fully working sugar plantation dating back to the Middle Ages and the Sugar Mill House, a stunning blend of old-world charm and modern luxury. Set within the historic walls of an 18th-century sugar mill and expertly designed by Mustique-based architect Thomas Dehen. These luxurious villas offer breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the Estate grounds.

Plantation House Estate

The large renovated buildings have been completely rebuilt, using the same stone once part of the original property & forming the centre of an incredible 28-acre estate. The villa was constructed with cobblestones and wood beams in the classic French-Mediterranean mansion-house style.

Five uniquely styled suites comfortably accommodate 12 guests. Within the main building lies a large banquet-style kitchen with a magnificent dining room area that turns into a magical setting at night. It includes a lounge with a fireplace and large screen TV with a soundbar. Enjoy a home-style BBQ using the charcoal grill while surrounded by the Estate's stunning views and lush surroundings. Fibre optic cable ensures that the wifi is quick and reliable, making it easy for guests to stream their favourite shows, work remotely, or stay connected with friends and family.

Sugar Mill House

Sugar Mill House is a true gem in the heart of the Estate, providing guests with a unique blend of comfort, style, and history. Christmas Eve 2020 marked my parents 42nd year of arriving on the island. This gives us a knowledge of the area which is unparalleled, due to the many connections we have made over the years.
