Description

The Drake Seaside Apartment is a self catering two bedroom holiday accommodation, in Seychelles, located in Belombre, on the main island of Mahe. It is well situated close to the seaside, and the main road. It was completed in May 2013 and has modern facilities. It is located on the 1st floor of the owner's house with its own access. The property is fenced, complete with electric gate to facilitate movement in and out. It has an open plan kitchen/sitting room and a large balcony facing the sea.

The Drake is a family run business and we are close by to help our guests. Guests will enjoy a peaceful environment coupled with the soft sound of the waves. The apartment is good value for family and group travel (4 adults max).

There are 2 bedrooms available, both with air-condition and double beds, sharing a bathroom, kitchen facilities and living space. 2nd room is rented out to the same party (families or groups). Guests have the option of renting out 1 bedroom only.

We provide a starter pack for breakfast on the 1st day of stay. Otherwise the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen.
Being close to the main road our guests can have easy access to local bus services. We also have a staircase leading from our garden down to the beach - great for kids and snorkeling enthusiast. Closest shop is a minute away.

The Drake is located on the main island of Mahe, in Belombre district, situated in the north. Nearby you will find shops, high-class hotel with restaurant facilities, St.Roch Roman Catholic Church and within walking distance the Tequilla Boom discotheque. It is a peaceful location and also not far from the famous Beau Vallon beach, known for watersports, restaurants, ATM's, supermarkets. Since we are close to the main road guests have easy access to the local bus service. Nonetheless, there is free parking space if a car hire is preferred.

We also have a family kayak that we let the guests use.

We have a No-smoking policy inside the apartment, however guests are allowed to use the balcony for doing so.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Danielle (the owner) a message.

If Danielle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
