Our villa was built by a European to high standards. We have just finished a total renovation and decoration to our high standards.
Our villa is the closest villa to Lovina beach up along a flat road.
We offer position and luxury accomodation for discerning travellers.
From the Lovina traffic lights it is 400m to our villa. 400m the other way is the warungs and shops of Lovina and then the beach. Lovina is the Bali of 20 years ago. A quiet, slower pace with gentle friendly villagers.
While we have bargain eateries we also have the world class Spice Club and The Lovina resort for special occassions.
At our villa we cater for guests who appreciate quality. The 2 queen-sized bedrooms upstairs have 100% cotton bedding, air con and ceiling fans. Both have private balconies. One looks over the gardens and pool, the other has a view of the local Kalibukbuk temple. A family bathrom with a bath services these 2 rooms. Another bathroom is downstairs.
The lounge downstairs has seating for 5 plus the dining has seating for 6. There is a desk area set up for charging phones and laptops, plus a printer.
Outside the lounge doors is the garden porch. There is seating for casual dining plus a huge rattan lounger. At the rear of the garden is the big pool, 2m deep at one end. There are 2 pool loungebeds and a bale for relaxing under.
We have set up lighting for night time for swimming or just enjoying the garden.
The villa has high, solid brick fences for security.
The kitchen and maids room is a seperate building. There is just about everything you need in a kitchen plus a breakfast table. A 3rd bathroom is also here.
We suggest you allow 3 or more days in Lovina. There is so much to do, or nothing at all. We have many waterfalls in our region, the Bhuddist Temple and Banjar Hot Springs. On the way to Lovina is the headquarters of Banyuatis Coffee. Call in for the tour of how they proccess the coffee and see the original wood-fired metal balls that roast the coffee. Buy a packet of the peaberry coffee that is hand sorted. In Singaraja is the Ikat factory that makes the cloth for the President of Indonesia's shirts. There is the traditional market and the ancient Chinese Temple at the old docks. In the evenings is the Night Market...a favourite of the Balinese for food and show rides. nearby is a great Japanese restaurant. Explore the hills behind Lovina and Singaraja. Wonderful waterfalls, quaint warungs and interesting villages and landscapes to drive through.
A Lovina treat is the Jimmy Hendrix School of Dance, just across the road from our villa. At 7.00 most nights, the children of the village put on a traditional dance show. Nowhere else in bali does this happen. Payment is by donation and the money raised keeps the children at school. Many of them are orphans housed in the village with other families, so this money means they can go to school. Jimmy also does tours and knows everything and everyone. Hook up to him and he will show you the best that Lovina has to offer.
So come to Lovina and see the other side of Bali. Leave behind the traffic and noise of Kuta and instead relax and have a really good holiday.
