The Gatsby House is named so owing to its decadent, larger-than-life feel that was written about in the novel, The Great Gatsby.

The Space

Let us walk you through the villa.

Bedrooms

- All 6 bedrooms are air-conditioned and have balconies.

- All rooms have double beds. Extra mattresses can be provided on request.

- Fresh linen and pillows are provided in all rooms.

Bathrooms

- The villa has 6 private bathrooms and 2 common bathrooms.

- 1 bathroom has a jacuzzi. 

- All bathrooms are modern and have geysers for hot water supply.

- Essentials such as towels and basic toiletries are provided.

Living Room

- The living room overlooks the pool and the greenery around.

- It is spacious and can easily accommodate a group of 30-35 people.

- The area also features a dining table, a bar counter, a snooker table and a few other games.

Kitchen

- Guests do not have access to the kitchen.

- The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, a gas stove and a water purifier.

- Crockery is available for 36 people.

Meals

- Meal packages that include breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner are offered, subject to availability.

- All vegetarian meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost of Rs. 2000 per person, per day.

- All non-vegetarian meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost of Rs. 2200 per person, per day.

- Please note that the meal prices will be exclusive of tax charges.

- For groups fewer than 6 people, a cook can be arranged at an additional charge, if confirmed 72hrs prior to the check-in date. This is subject to availability.

- All meals will be prepared in the villa kitchen.

- Guests may eat out or opt for the meal package.

- In the rare scenario that the meal packages are unavailable, ordering in will be permitted.

- The meal pricing will be higher for certain peak / festive dates.

- Guests can indulge in the local fare at nearby restaurants, however, please check the timings given the prevalent lockdown rules.

- The villa has a private pool and a huge open space with an artificial pond.

- Pool size: 37ft x 22ft with a depth of 4ft.

- The games room has games like table tennis, foosball, carrom, etc.

- Outdoor game equipment for cricket, football and badminton are also available.

- A fully equipped conference room is available in the villa.

- Conference room can be used on prior approval.

- A torch is available.

- A hair-dryer is available.

- Guests may use the wardrobes.

- An elevator is available at the villa.

- A medical kit is available at the villa.

- Mosquito repellent can be provided.

- Indoor and outdoor games are available.

- The villa has solar powered geysers. While this measure is better for the environment, it means the level of heating may fluctuate from time to time.

- There are 3 jacuzzis available, however, the outdoor jacuzzi, near the pool area, is not functional. Guests can use the 2 indoor jacuzz is at no additional costs. 

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire villa and all its indoor and outdoor spaces.  In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

Staff Accommodation

There is no separate staff accommodation, however, they can be accommodated in the living/kitchen area of the villa. Staff charges will be the same as an extra person charge.

- Guests are advised to remain cautious, given the presence of insects around, during the monsoon season.

- Owing to monsoons, the road conditions leading up to the villa may be poor.

PET POLICY

- Pets are welcome at this property. However, as a standard pet policy, we allow only up to 2 pets at an additional charge.

- Pets will not be allowed inside the pool or around the poolside area.

- In the villa, pets are not permitted on beds, futons, chairs, couches, or blankets.

- Please clean up after your pets, both in the villa and outside in the lawn/garden area.

- As a preventive measure, pets will not be allowed inside the kitchen as there may be a possibility of pet hair falling in the food.

- Please carry your pet’s favourite blanket, as the towels/blankets at the villa will not be accessible to them.

- Guests are advised to groom their pets, prior to arrival, especially if they are prone to shedding, as pet hair can be difficult to remove.

We tried reaching these guys for a property at alibaug of 12 bedroom, gatsby villa… the inefficiency of these guys is so high… forget about going there, they didn’t even have audac… More

It was overpriced and under delivered. Not worth at all. We stayed for 2 nights .but regret our stay, food was average and staff was not efficient.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
