“Spacious villa enticing you to explore every opportunity that Culebra offers” I miss most my morning coffee from the outdoor kitchen overlooking the glistening bay, thinking what the day would hold for me. The villa is laid out perfectly. My wife and I had the master BR with bathroom ensuite, two daughters had their own bedrooms, and our son his own completely seperate apartment with his girlfriend. The open plan kitchen spilling into the grand living area was exactly what you would want to use to cook, serve and enjoy the family. The indor/ outdoor flow is ideal as it allows easy use of a great deal of space, views and 5 hammocks all in sun and shade. We had Chef Carlos cook for us in the outdoor kitchen and we ate on the large patio - a very memorable experience! Geographically, the villa is ideally located. Very close to the center of town but far enough removed to negate all traffic and bar noise. You are situated at the end of a long remote driveway. As the 6 beautiful beaches we saw are scattered along the periphery of the island, the central location was key, never more than a 20 minute ride to any of them - in a slow golf cart. The water access is wonderful, kayaking and swimming are right at your dock. Also, along the driveway, at another dock, is Captain Bill's catamaran. For an over-the-top experience try his Day Tour, We all had an unbelievable adventure on the island but we saved his excursion for our last day, As I said, over-the-top! Gracias Bill. We were lucky enough to meet Alex, the gracious owner. He is a memorable character full of useful recommendations, notes and advice.His company was enjoyed by my whole family. He is iconic on the island, and his name and Villa do generate you some swag. Most importantly, before, during and after our stay he was very prompt with returning calls to assure a most pleasant stay. He returned my wife's call almost immediately to inquire about art for sale on the island. He called to advise us on the night of the "Super Moon' to be sure not to miss. We saw and compared many places on the island during the week we stayed. For a larger party this Villa is hands-down the best place to stay. Enjoy!.

“Location, location, location!” My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed here for a week, and we absolutely loved it! You couldn't be in a better location, less than a block from the Ocean, lot's of restaurants and shops, we had a blast. We walked down to the Malecon and watched sunset every night...rented kayaks and paddled out to the little island in the Esperanza bay to do some snorkeling, walked to Sun Bay for a day at the Beach. We only rented a car for 1 day to check out the rest of the Island, but I don't think we missed much, Esperanza is the place to be. The house was adorable, the bedroom was big enough for our kids to sleep on the air mattress next to the bed my husband and i slept in. We loved having dinner outside in the garden, (having our own kitchen helped save $$ by not having to eat out 3 times a day) and people watching out the front porch was so fun, we even saw a few horses go by! The owners were very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable, helping recommend places to eat that the kids would also enjoy, and pointing out the best spots to snorkel. I would recommend this house to anyone coming to Vieques!

“Great Spring Break!” I stayed at the villa with 9 other roommates for spring break and it was a great trip! The villa was exactly the kind of arrangement we were hoping for: enough places for everyone to sleep without feeling cramped at all, a nice and clean kitchen, the best balcony to eat breakfast at (nothing like drinking coffee while looking out over the ocean!) and immediate access to the pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, and most importantly, the beach. As far as sleeping arrangements go, we worked it out to have 2 people in the queen beds and the double bed, 3 in the king size bed, and 1 on a futton in the living room. There are also two more couches in the living room that can easily be used to sleep on. The who resort is a little far from San Juan (about 40 min drive), so renting cars makes transportation much easier and will get you out of the resort area. It also makes going to the rainforest easy (which is something everyone should do!) The beach is beautiful, clean, and is great for swimming, playing, or taking walks along the shore. If you want a relaxing vacation by the water, this is an ideal spot. Also, the villas weren't very crowded (probably because we were there in an off week) so finding lawn chairs by the pool or hanging out in the jacuzzi was never an issue. And being walking distance from the casino at the Wyndham doesn't hurt, either! Definitely a great place to stay! I would highly recommend it for a big group of friends like I went with, or even for two families that want to go on vacation. Enjoy Puerto Rico!

“Great condo, beautiful view, great location, love every bit of my vacation.” This is the first time we looked outside of San Juan the tourist area, so I was very skeptical about any other location. Instead of looking for a regular hotel, I wanted to have a place that felt like home. I wanted full kitchen and a place that could accommodate my large family and not be to crammed in a small area. I surf the web, where I came upon Flipkey and loved the condos and vacation homes I seen on this website. I instantly saw this location in Fajardo, Pr, a 3 bedroom 2 bath room condo located in Pena Mar Ocean club. From the first day I booked the condo, Alex the owner help me with every step. When we arrived in Fajardo, we were greeted by the key holder Anthony, who was great, he gave us the tour of the condo and recommended areas to eat and to visit during our stay. The condo it self was more then I could imagine, extremely CLEAN and beautiful terrace right off the water front. Every morning my mother in law and father in law would sit out there from sunset to sun down so very peaceful. It has a full size kitchen, fully stocked with plates and silverware, washer and dryer, towels and even beach chairs and toys to use, The bedrooms was big enough accommodate me, my husband, 3 sons ages ranging from (6-17) and my in-laws and we were VERY comfortable, 2 bathrooms. The condo had 3 pools, 1 with a slide, talk about fantastic my kid loved it, they did not want to go any where else. There were great restaurants right on the beach front couple miles down, you diffidently need a car to site see. I would definitely would recommend this place to any one who is looking for a spacious, clean, great condo in a beautiful location. “We will definitely be back!!!” Everything about our trip to Casa Espeanza in Vieques outshined our expectations. Michelle's professionalism while making reservation, courteous and prompt responses to all my questions before we even arrived and helpfulness of her even to make some reservations for excursions were a welcome treat. It was a pleasure dealing with her and then when we met at the airport for the Meet & Greet the wonderful experience continued with helpful information and a very detailed explanation of the island with directions and recommendations. The house itself is like a gallery with its decor yet seems like home as soon as you step in. Very comfortable and inviting, seems more like a home than a rental unit with all the personal touches of Michelle and Juan. It offers everything you need for a beach vacation and more, yet if you are like me, you might not want to leave the house especially with the back patio area. Day or night it is cool with a slight breeze and offers the atmosphere of a true tropical oasis to relax, read, sip on a toddy, or grill a 5 star dinner for your guest(s). If you do venture out, you can walk to a couple of beaches and restaurants and bars in just 10 min or so or hop in a rental car and drive 10-15 min to some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. It was an experience for my journal and I cannot wait to come back and stay at Casa Esperanza. Thanks so much Michell and Juan for your insight, openness, and hospitality.
