“Lovely villa in beautiful quiet location but within walking distance of Pollensa” We had a lovely week in July at Can Sol villa. It is set in an extremely peaceful location just outside Pollensa - an easy 10/15 minute walk into the centre with all its restaurants, sites and amenities, but with none of the bustle of the old town itself. The villa is comfortable and well-equipped, and the outside space is spectacular. The pool is large and clean, with loungers and deckchairs galore, the views are fantastic, and there is a gas-fired plancha (grill), which we used for evening barbecues. The only thing missing was a book with instructions for appliances (although these weren't really necessary), and recommendations for local restaurants etc. Joana was very helpful, and when there was a brief power outage because of a thunderstorm her husband came round within minutes to check we were back up and running. We would highly recommend Bar Alhambra for excellent and fairly priced tapas that attracts locals as well as tourists.
