“Comfortable, roomy, secure community with beautiful gardens, sho” We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely come back. We have two children ages 9 and 11 and they loved the gardens, the nice walk to the pool, and the other people in the community. We especially appreciated the large palms and shrubs they have planted around the pool and in the yards to give shade if needed. It gets really hot during the day. The house is roomy and very comfortable, with all necessary appliances, even a washer and dryer. It's a short walk (10 min) to the beach where you can surf, boogie board, or just play in the waves. There are signs everywhere warning of rip tides but we stayed pretty close to shore and didn't find it a problem. The nearest grocery store is a 15-minute drive so it's a good idea to have a car, although there is a tiny mini-super just outside the community. Unlike some other rentals in Costa Rica, you could get away with not having a 4-wheel drive for this one, the road is flat and in decent shape.
