“This was the most relaxed I have been in years!!” I booked this at the last minute for a family get-a-way based on my internet search. Upon talking with the owner, I was put at ease about our spontaneous rental and not knowing the area. The best way to describe the place was wow!!! It was new, large, clean, and sat right on the Sound. I could not have asked for a better vacation except for the fact that I needed about 2 or 3 more weeks of sitting on the top deck in the sun reading my book looking out at the water. My wife and I could not have asked for a more peaceful get-a-way. It was just what we needed to get away from the grind of DC work. The adult kids that went with us loved the peace and quiet and the easy access to the water. I have nothing but good things to say about the experience and we loved every minute of it. The only negative thing I can think of about the whole experience other than the fact we had to leave was (why can't I own this view for retirement) !!! Thanks for letting us enjoy your place!

“The best rental home on the market - 5 stars” We have stayed at the Dolphin Inn rental home in Southern Shores (Duck), NC for four years now. The home owners are fantastic to deal with, very accommodating and gracious hosts. They take pride in their home always looking for ways to upgrade their offerings to the most discerning guests. This home has everything you would want in a rental home (7 nicely decorated bedrooms, large deck spaces, pool and hot tub, large children's playground called the pirates ship, sand volleyball court, basketball, gas grill, beautiful landscaping, Wifi, more TV channels you could ever imagine, a huge movie library, flat screen Tv's in every bedroom and living room, kids bunk rooms, 1 block from the beach, ocean views from the decks and second and third level living areas, memberships to a great local golf course - bowling alley, movie rental store, etc., This home is like a 5 star resort and I should know as I am in the luxury resort business. the home is clean, very well maintained and has excellent owners (George and Suzanna). everything you need is located onsite to include easy to carry beach chairs for the beach and a book that tells you everything you need to know about the local area and places to visit. I could not be more pleased about my vacation visits to the Dolphin Inn and will be back for many years to come, sometimes twice a year!

“Upscale vacationing” My family and I arrived on June 1, 2019 and was immediately surprised over the condition of the home. Everything is very nice and in top condition the walk to the beach is at most a small city block. The amenities were top scale, the hot tub and pool was used a lot ! Next time I think we will have the pool heat added. The kids enjoyed the pool but it was a bit to chilly for me. The washer stopped working while we was there , but Vino replaces it the next day. He has went above and beyond to make sure our stay at Carolina Breeze was amazing ! I would recommend staying in Carolina Breeze ! The house was very comfy!!

“A great experience” My wife and I had a wonderful time at Smooth Sailing. Driving on the beach isn't for everybody,but the privacy it provided made it well worth it.We saw horses daily and plenty of other wildlife including a prairie warbler! The views of the ocean and dunes were great especially at sunrise and sunset.The house had everything that was needed for a great time. The owner (Angi) was great to deal with and was always available.Angi thank you for everything this was possibly the most relaxing vacation Ive ever been on and the memories will last forever. Thanks again!

“Not a 'Flop' but a 'Success'” This vacation was a last minute decision. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to find such a nice accomodations at the last minute. The home was decorated and appointed very appropriatly. We were very surprised and extremely pleased to find that the home was'stocked' with everything we needed from cleaning supplies to food prep and cooking utensils to recreational and entertainment options. The only negative experience we had was the difficulty in payment. Elan would not accept our personal check, wire transfer or even a credit card payment (unless we paid a $50 processing fee). If not for the payment issue, we would rate this an Exellent!
