“Family Break” Lovely location, really well equipped, really comfortable beds. The hot tub is great - listening to the waves under the stars. The cabin is very warm with a great view (we saw whales and a very loud seal. Lovely beech and some really nice state parks nearby for river swimming. The locals were really friendly as well. As Brits, this felt like real america.

“Oregon coast getaway” A fun and festive beach house. We watched amazing sunsets from the unobstructed patio area and the walk to the beach was pleasant. We never made it into the jacuzzi, but did use the supplied bbq on the patio. Were planning to stay there again, or possibly the other side of the hacienda. Kellie is a real nice person to make reservations with.

“Best vacation house ever!” This is a great home to spend any vacation. It sits right on the Siletz Bay in Lincoln City, just a few steps away from the sand and beautiful beach. The house itself is amazingly comfortable and great for any type of vacationer. This is the place to be for a good time in a dreamlike setting. We come to Lincoln City every year and we would definitely stay at the Bayside Bungalow again!

“Good rental” I've rental several houses on this strip of beach- the Rogue Shores. Oceansong was a beautiful rental and a perfect house for a beach getaway. It's pretty clear that the owner of this house is pretty OCD- everything in the kitchen is labeled and this is the first house I've ever rented that requests you always Remove your shoes, and then strip the beds, start some laundry and clean the kitchen before you go. They're simple easy tasks that I usually do anyways but the request made me a little uneasy. I would be nervous about visiting this house with small children, because the carpets are white and like I said before, it seems like the renters are very particular. Overall this was a great house- comfortable beds, clean home, close walk to the beach. I rented this house with my mom and it was great for just the two of us, but definitely can accommodate more people. 5 beds and a couch in the living room. The basement is really dark and it's a shame that the garage doors weren't operable because it was too dark to play with the pool and ping pong tables in my opinion. If the garage doors could open it would have been great.

“Best beach house on the Oregon coast!” I couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for our family celebration. All my family members were ecstatic with my choice upon their arrival at the Oceanfront Castle. It is a beautiful house with unrivaled location, easy access to the beach, and ideal for viewing sunsets. The house is well equipped with everything one could possibly need. It is wanting for nothing. All is clean and well maintained. My cousin, her husband and son flew in from Florida. This was their first visit to Oregon. They only planned to spend two nights with us but were so taken with the Castle, its comfort, and its many amenities that they decided they just had to stay with us an additional night. I think that fact says it all! Wonderful…..I can’t wait until our next visit to the Castle.

“Well worth the trip!” This gem of a place was the perfect spot for our group of old friends to relax and connect. Just a little outside of the hamlet of Yachats and hidden away from the coast highway, we climbed the stairs to an amazingly well-appointed beach getaway. With a large common space and a kitchen with almost everything you need to feed a group, the seven of us watched the boats, walked the beach, read books, played cards, and cooked some of the last tuna of the season fresh off the docks a bit to the north of us. It would have been easy to spend a week there, but we had only three nights. Made restful by the fact that there are four nicely-sized bedrooms and three bathrooms. We'll go back there for our next coast getaway.
Rockaway Beach house

“Why stay anywhere else?” I cannot say enough great things about my stay at the Scallyway beach house! I had to travel to Rockaway for work, but this excellent rental made it feel more like a vacation. The house is in a quiet and safe neighborhood close to the beach and downtown-with friendly neighbors too! The home is very spacious (2 of us were staying) and we felt spoiled having a full kitchen, exceptionally well stocked games closet, laundry room and foosball table that you won't find during any hotel/motel stay. The house was perfectly equipped for vacation renters with everything from detailed instructions on how to run things smoothly to nice shampoo/conditioners in the showers, not to mention how cute the place looks with the sweet beach themed decor. This would be a great rental for all ages; for example you can tell the owners paid attention to detail as the unused electrical outlets have safety covers on them. On a side note, I am a very particular person about cleanliness and the Scallywag house left me at ease-everything was very clean and tidy. It was a pleasure communicating with the ownwer-she was quick to respond to my inquiries and made herself easily available for any questions/concerns. She took the time to help accomodate my unique work based situation which made the difference between getting to stay at the Scallywag house and having to rent a hotel room. And with such reasonable rates, again I ask, why stay anywhere else? :)
