“Great, very relaxing” My husband and myself were in Maggie Valley for a BMW motorcycle event. Even though it rained each day, we rode, looking forward to our home away from home. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the ducks in the stream and listening to rain. My personal favorite was being lulled to sleep by the the rushing stream. Did I mention it rained for 3 days.

“Perfect Getaway” This is a great cabin and is just as described by the owners and as shown in photos. It is close enough to Franklin to get to sites, yet secluded enough to get away from it all. The cabin and all its amenities worked great. We took advantage of the fireplace, fire pit, and hot tub. This all made for a relaxing trip. The view is also superb. Cabin was extremely clean and a like new feel. Owners were great in answering questions and helping make our stay unforgettable. I would recommend this rental to family and friends.

“Oct 5 - Oct 12 2013 - Beauty in the Mountans” Lisa takes time to explain everything to first time guests - and delivers exactly what she says. Our pet peeve is poor cookware in weekly rental units - we do this frequently. Here everything was in good shape and we cooked and cooked! You might bring a hand held knife sharpener (we did) as knives require regular sharpening to work well. Otherwise sensible cookware and dining ware. There were even beer glasses in the freezer! The location is quite high on the hillside so use good care when driving up or down the narrow roadway. Essentially most of it is one lane and requires everyone to be courteous. The view changes moment to moment as sunlight paints the mountains with constant change. Clouds lay in the valley from sunrise until nearly noon providing a relaxing view for coffee and breakfast. The home is stocked with menus and maps - do be adventurous. We visited a new location daily for lunch and twice to Harrah's Casino for dinner. Ruth's Chris and Brio were well worth the drive over and the chance to dress up a little. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay. We will be back! Brewer & Pam West Columbia, SC (P.S. “Relaxation and adventure all in one!” We spent a long weekend at the cabin. It was a gorgeous cabin, and yet honey at the same time. Plenty of games for the kids to stay occupied in the evening and a relaxing porch for us to sit on and listen to the crickets. We went to Chimney rock one morning and hiked to the tip and walked in the 400ft falls, amazing! The next morning we went next door and went horseback riding, then on down the road to try zipline! We had a wonderful time, will definitely be going back!

“Guaranteed Relaxation” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the river cottage. The deck just above the river is spacious and comfortable, and it's where we spent most of our time. We cooked all of our meals on the grill there, and dined al fresco enjoying the soothing sounds of the river. We had everything we needed in terms of linens, kitchen supplies, etc., and we appreciated having wireless internet access as well. There is a dorm -size refrigerator in the kitchen and another one on the deck. This made it easy for us to have room for food in the kitchen and beverages handy on the deck. There are shades on the deck that can be pulled down for extra privacy. The hot tub and the massage chair were just the ticket after climbing to the top of Chimney Rock. This is a perfect cottage for a peaceful and romantic getaway!
