“It had us trying to figure out how to move there” I have been to brevard several times and stayed at very nice bed&breakfasts; in town. They were very nice and yet the trout house still blew them away. It is very up to date and stylish with plenty of room. Everything was clean and we were surprised how nice the dishes/silverware was. It was like a home away from home. The house is close to a road but traffic is very seldom and it makes easy access for excursions. The east fork river is on the other side of the road (50ft from house) and the sound is relaxing and the fish were plentiful. Great time & bargain.

“Great, very relaxing” My husband and myself were in Maggie Valley for a BMW motorcycle event. Even though it rained each day, we rode, looking forward to our home away from home. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the ducks in the stream and listening to rain. My personal favorite was being lulled to sleep by the the rushing stream. Did I mention it rained for 3 days.

“Rock & Relax at the Crest” We just spent a wonderful and relaxing weekend at "The Crest". Everything about our stay was top notch and the home is as lovely as it appears on line. The views were spectacular and we spent most of our time on the two spacious porches overlooking the mountains and beautiful forest. If you want peace and quiet, this is the perfect spot. The kitchen is well stocked and other than linens and food, everything is at your fingertips. Although, the space is ideal for families, it is also very accessable for those with limited mobility as there are two bedrooms/two baths and a kitchen on the same floor. The home was the cleanest rental that I have ever stayed in and the owner is a joy to work with and makes the rental process so simple. We look forward to our next visit.

“Relaxation by the River!!” If you are looking for a place to relax and renew your batteries, this is the place for you. Let the sound of the river settle you down while reading on the deck or enjoying the Hot Tub. I celebrated my 60th birthday and my retirement in this charming setting with my Husband of 44 yrs. It would be perfect for a family with children as well. It is located close to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Bruce and Marion's attention to detail in providing anything you may need is amazing. I will certainly stay here again when I am in the area.
