“Comfortable with amazing Views!” Great spacious apartment. Very clean and comfortable with amazing views across the water. Very friendly hosts and the provisions supplied in the kitchen were delicious! The kids room was great and the toys and books were very well received. Great also to have Wifi and Sky TV. The only downside was it was a bit further than we thought to drive into Wellington but ok if you avoided travelling in peak hour.

“Breath-taking, Pristine, Private, Luxury” Set away from the rest of the lodge the Ferry Man's Cottage is a quiet and breath taking place. It's a little house with beautiful showers, a new kitchen, a backyard with ducks and a pond, and of course a view to die for. It also has a pair of old-timey bathtubs where you can lie back with a glass of wine at night and watch the nearly infinite number of stars overhead. Do ask for allison to cook you a meal. Her cooking is superb and better than anything you'll find in town.

“The 40th birthday” when we stayed at Rata Road, one of several occasions to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The presentation was superb outshined only by the company. The location was fantastic with many wonderful walking routes. The beach offered many great swimming experiences and the retail therapy in Devonport awesome :) Thank you Richard and Neil for the wonderful times and memories we have of Devonport and 1a Rata Rd.
