    Certificate of Excellence

    Why Marbella?

This elegant resort on the Costa del Sol oozes style and sophistication. The coastline is studded with chic restaurants and the quay is awash with luxury yachts; a holiday here will make you feel like an A-lister. But it's not all fancy bars and swanky hang-outs; the past has been beautifully preserved in the old town, where you'll find narrow, flower-filled lanes, quaint corner cafés and museums. It's ideal for families, couples, groups of friends and solo travellers wanting to soak up the atmosphere.

There's a huge range of options when it comes to self-catering accommodation in Marbella. Pick a villa with a private pool, an apartment in the centre of the action or maybe a stylish penthouse for a touch of luxury.

    Best for beaches

It's easy to see why beach-lovers can't get enough of Marbella. There's a jaw-dropping 23 beaches to choose from, many of which have Blue Flag status. Bounty Beach is where the young and trendy lay their towels. It's chilled out atmosphere and central location mean it's ideal for an afternoon dip in the sea after exploring the area. Playa de Alicate long, sandy shores are a popular choice with families, while Playa Nagüeles - playground to the rich and famous, is exceptionally clean and stunningly beautiful.

Things to see and do in Marbella

One thing's for sure; you'll never be bored in Marbella. Join a boat trip and go whale and dolphin watching with the family. If art gets you going, visit the Avenida del Mar to see some of Salvador Dali's breathtaking sculptures on show. Admire the architecture at the Iglesia Mayor de la Encarnacion cathedral with its brightly coloured artefacts. And if you're looking for a romantic spot to pop the question, stop at the Fuente de la Virgen del Rocio fountain in the evening. The pretty park surrounding it is the perfect place to pause for reflection, too.

    VILLACASA-5 MARBELLA (Bonita y Grande)
Beautiful villa very close to beach and town centre

A group of 11 adults recently went for a 3 nights weekend. The villa was very nice as expected from the website. Very spacious despite the number of people - we never felt on top of each other. Villa was spotlessly clean and the facilities were very good which made our stay very enjoyable and relaxing. The kitchen was equipped with very good quality appliances. These included washing machine, large fridge, microwave and dishwasher. We used all of them during our stay without any problems. The bedrooms were spacious with three of them en-suite, There was also one communal bathroom for some of the bedroom. The villa also has air-conditioner, open fire (which we used in the evening due to low temperature in the evening - it provided a warm ambiance which was lovely). Other facilities included a money safe and TV. The outdoor facilities were fantastic - 2 large size swimming pools and plenty seats in an area overlooking a panoramic view (sea, hills etc...) In the evening the outdoor swimming pool , around the fence and the palm trees were all illuminated which gave a feel of luxury and magic. As other reviews mentioned the location is absolutely fab. - 5 mins walk to the beach and 25 mins brisk walk to the old town. Taxi are very reasonable - cost to the town from the villa was 8 euros for 4 people. Additionally Manolo and Carmen (the owners) were lovely and very helpful. Communication with them was very good. They responded to emails very quickly, came to assist with the safe and also offered to take us to the supermarket on our arrival. They were very professionals and nothing was too much trouble for them. There were really lovely people. The only recommendation we made to Manolo is that the number of towels was not sufficient for showers and swimming. Manolo has accepted our recommendation. Strongly recommend it. see more

    Best weekend away!

I honestly don't know where to begin, I feel that words won't be enough to explain just how Amazing Carmen, Manolo and the villa really is! From day one, Carmen has been brilliant. Keeping me updates and just making the whole process a breeze. We were a party of 18 visiting marbella for a hen party. At first I was a little hesitant about the location, part of me was thinking it might be a bit too far out. This was definitely not the case and it was a perfect location. Not too far from the main strip but far enough out that you had your own space. The villa itself is absolutely stunning!! Carmen clearly has high standards and the villa itself is kept in such an immaculate condition. Not once did we feel we were on top of each other, so much space inside and out. As we went Easter weekend, Carmen informed me that the supermarkets may be shut and that we may struggle to do a shop. She offered to do our shop for us. I sent her a list of everything we needed and she got it in for us, which we paid on arrival. This was such a big help and it meant we could chill out and enjoy the glorious sunshine. Upon our arrival Manolo greeted us, music Playing and smiles all round. He sat us down and explained what was what and was so helpful in regards to giving us maps and taxi numbers. If you are thinking of booking this villa, trust me you don't need to think just go for It. I promise that you will not be disappointed. I have already discussed about going back with my family and friends! Yes it is that good! I just want to say a massive thank you to Carmen and Manolo, for being great host and making my job as maid of honour a lot more easier. You are great people and I hope to visit again soon! Perfect quiet location

Spacious well appointed villa in stunning gardens. The pool area was very clean and had plenty of sun loungers. The beach bars are a two min stroll and the food there was very good. They also had entertainment during the day which added to the pleasure of sipping cocktails and eating nice food. Would recommend this villa to all. Big thanks to Peter for being so helpful on our arrival. see more
    Excellent apartment

Stayed in the apartment for 6 nights and had a lovely time. It looked exactly as the pictures and the balcony was great to sit on and take in the sun early evening. Mariate was great in organising the booking and met her to pick up keys, then showed us round the apartment and how things worked. Would certainly recommend staying there. see more

The villa was massive, enough space for 8 people, it was clean and miantained really well. The owner was very friendly and helpful, once we arrived at the villa we were left to it. Highly recommend for a group visit to Marbella. … see more

Beautiful gardens outside but the inside of the house is a little tired.

I was surprised to see that I am the first to write a review about this villa and after spending 8 days in the villa i can understood why, It wasn't perfect but it wasn't terrible so i just imagine that everyone else who has stayed at the villa previously just decided not to say anything and let the rest of us find out for ourselves. My review is not to put you off having a wonderful holiday, its just to prepare you on a few things that frustrated me for the first few days of my holiday. CHECK-IN: 4PM - Our flight arrived at 10.55am and it would have been great if we could have dropped our bags at the villa and then went off until 4pm, as this was not an option offered, we had to remain at the airport for 4 hours with my 78 year old father and his 65 year old sister which was not ideal. LOCATION: Please note the villa is at the top of a very steep hill so we had to use cabs to get us back up the hill each day, My husband and I are very fit but even we found the hill impossible to get up, adding extra expense to the holiday. The gardens and view were exactly as the picture showed, PERFECT, THE GOOD: It is like going from home to home, they have provided everything you need, from unlimited towels, hairdryers, glassware, toilet paper and a welcome package of wine, water, meat, cheese, coffee etc. FRUSTRATIONS: The 6 patio doors which lead from the living room into the garden area had very large padlocks on them and 2 of the doors had large cracks in the glass, "when we asked the owner to remove the padlocks so we could access the garden, he refused as he explained that they had been burgled previously" so we had to use the kitchen or the front door to access the garden. The bedside cabinets could not be used as they were full of the owners items and We had problems with the pool cover opening and closing and i felt the pool water was a little cold. "Please note:The man who looks after the property was always available to help when we had problems". Replace the welcome package before you leave for the next guest. The cushions for the loungers can be located in the garage and the umbrellas for the pool are at the back of the house. You just have to go and find them as the villa is not all set up with these when you arrive. We had a great holiday but would have saved a few days of frustration if we had known all before we arrived. Please don't let this review put you off booking or enjoying your holiday at this villa as we had great fun but if i had known this before i arrived i would have been more prepared. Have a great holiday. see more
