“Total relaxation in a prime property” The location & view of casa Belmonte left us completely dumbstruck, both during the day & night you cant take your eyes away from it. A haven of relaxation high up in the Andalucian hills overlooking lake Vinuela, this villa has it all. Easily accommodating 10 guests in a beautifully restored farm house, that is both classy & funky, with cleaver quirky decor that is a pleasure to stay in. You can literally loose yourself here with loads of space and cosy hideaways which allows you to get lots of time alone if so desired. The pool is beautiful and lots of sunbeds to choose from. Outside living is a pleasure in Casa Belmonte with large dining tables out front & by the pool, with an amazing BBQ with outdoor sink & fridge, with no shortage of beautifull dishes & cooking utensils. Beautiful villages close by and Malaga only a 50 min drive. Great for large families with older kids who want nothing more than to worry where your next meal is coming from. To top it off both Hillary & Rob are a delight to deal with, chatty and accommodating with great knowledge of the surrounding countryside. You can't go wrong with this villa, you will not be disappointed

“A most enjoyable stay in a beautiful place with the warmest of hospitality and delicious food!” My stay at Finca los Pinos was absolutely wonderful. It was not just the very good facilities and the serenity of the place, the beauty of the surrounding countryside and mountains, the spectacular walks and the attractive villages, especially Competa, which combined to create such an enjoyable walking holiday (not forgetting the good combination with Yoga). It was the owners' very warm welcome and the personal and kind attention throughout my stay which made me feel I was spending a holiday with good friends. And if that was not enough, I was spoilt every day with delicious food.

“Rural Delight.” We have stayed at the Farmhouse 3 times,twice in summer, and once in September. We rarely return to the same place,however we have never been disappointed.The owners are lovely and really helpful,offering produce they have grown themselves and assisted when our car had a puncture-but at the same time they keep their distance. Directions from Malaga airport were easy to follow. The house is situated about 50 mins from the airport via motorway & decent rural roads. The farmhouse is situated beyond Villanueva on the road to antequera.The views looking beyond the village and to the Coast are lovely. The main farmhouse has a lounge with Sat.Tv/dvd, Dining area and kitchen which houses a washing machine. 3 large bedrooms,all en suite. There is also an outside eating area,together with barbecue. There is a refreshing pool with plenty of surrounding room for lounging in the sun. The owners have several animals which keep themselves to themselves. Villanueva is a small village with a couple of small supermarkets,bars, banks and a pharmacy. Larger supermarkets can be found over the mountain road in antequera (30 mins). Antequera is worth a visit, as is El Torcal the nature reserve which you drive by on the way to antequera. Visit the old part of Malaga(50 mins) and the coastal areas of Torremolinos/Benalmedina are just over an hour away(water park at Torremolinos) Slightly futher afield is the mountain village of Mijas and coatal town of Nerja(visit the caves). Inland the town of Ronda to the south west is about 90 mins away but worth a day trip for the fabulous Puente Neuvo bridge/El Tajo gorge. The summer weather was excellent,temps in the mid 30C's & cloudless skies. The weather in Sept. was still warm,afternoon temps frequently reaching 30C and perfect for exploring. Overall an excellent holiday property. Have a good holiday.
