“Tranquilo en Paraiso” The week flew by, and all I can say is what an easy and comfortable week it was. The house is well kept, has dishes, stove, oven, hot water for cleaning and bathing, all from rainwater, and the house has electricity from solar panels. Wifi worked very well considering how remote the location is. Leaving the windows open all day and night for fresh air and the sound of the water was great. Waking up to a beautiful view of the sea was such a treat. We were lucky to have such great neighbors at the connecting house. It became like a family vacation. Lyo and Poli stayed nearby and were always helpful with suggestions of trips nearby. They are as involved as you want them to be. In fact, we spent several nice days exploring the nearby Starfish Beach and Boca del Drago with them and our neighbors. On several nights we had pot lock dinners and Lyo made a traditional Brazilian seafood dish. On our final night he suggested where to buy fresh lobster tails in town and I brought them home after biking to Playa Bluff, and he and Poli helped cook them for dinner. It was absolutely great. Lyo even took me to the airport early in the morning to confirm my flight home because he was concerned. The house is in a beautiful location set aside from the noise of Bocas Town, and the sunsets are just amazing. After sitting out on the deck or after a nice day trip in the sun, coming home jump in the clear shallow waters surrounding the house was great. There are so many different kinds of fish swimming under the house to explore by snorkel. At night after dinner Lyo showed us phosphorescent fish in the back of the house and then looked up to see the clear sky with so many stars. We feel like we made great friends and shared great memories here. We would definitely return. Thanks Lyo and Poli.

“Escape to Coral View House” Coral View House, with its wraparound verandahs was stunning. Inside it was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. A lot of thought had gone into the building of the house because it was airy and surprising cool. The setting was private and relaxing yet we didn't feel cut off as Bocas town was just a few minutes boat ride away. The house,surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean, provided us with great snorkeling, swimming, underwater photography, etc right off the deck. When we felt less active we snoozed in the hammock or sipped cocktails on the sun loungers and watched schools of colourful fish, dolphins or a couple of times a leopard ray go by. The sunsets were spectacular too. It was so peaceful. The only noise was from an occasional boat passing by or the Howler monkeys in the distant jungle. Sometimes the locals would paddle by in dug-out canoes to sell freshly caught lobsters. There were plenty of islands for us to explore in this archipelago. Too many adventures and not enough time! We enjoyed lots of fishing and shelling also. I can't begin to list the places we visited suffice to say we were never disappointed. There were lots of great places to eat in Bocas. We could buy everything we needed there and it also had a well stocked pharmacy. On a Friday afternoon/Saturday the locals came into town and set up stalls and selling their artistic wares. It was a wonderful holiday. We are planning to return next year and hope Coral View house will be available again!

“Loved this placed!” My husband and I were recently in the Orange House for a week...what a tremendous time we had! The house has everything you need, is close to the beach and is close enough to town, but far enough away. We enjoyed Claudia's recommendations for restaurants and activities.
