“Great Honeymoon Getaway” Marcia and Dennis (& Shay) Thank you so much for welcoming us to your patch of paradise. We enjoyed every moment of our trip and look forward to returning in the future. Your informed advice made it easy for us to feel confident in our treks and adventures around the island. When we were not out exploring, we truly enjoyed lying around on the dock, sitting in the cool breeze on the porch, feeding the fish right outside our door, and, of course – snorkeling the beautiful wall of reef just a short paddle away. Thank you for your hospitality!

“A week in paradise” We recently visited roatan the first week of march and boy did we have a good time. The house is absolutely gorgeous with an awesome pool area too. The yards and pool area are very well maintained by the grounds keeper. The house is divided in many different areas so each could have their private own space and there was enough space in the main house for us to all be together too. Everything in the property was in order and liz from roatan rentals was very helpful. I do recommend using the pickup service they provide as some people of our group had trouble finding the house with regular taxis. The house is very well located with easy access to west end with a short 2 min taxi ride( wich cost 1-2 bucks each way). I highly recommend this to anyone who's thinking of visiting roatan with a large group. J-P

“Alittle Slice of Heaven” From the time my husband and I were picked up from airport to the end of our stay it was great! I've been to many islands but none as relaxing and beautiful as this Utila Dreamer Beach House in Honduras. If you want paradise without the crowds of Tourist, this is the place to go. Absolutely loved the snorkeling , was like looking into another world. Aquatic life was abundant, the views from the porch were insane!!! Just so beautiful. My husband did a lot of day fishing and night fishing in which we dined on YellowTail and Tuna...sooo good . Fresh caught lobster was available from a local fishermen. Lynn was especially helpful and answered all our questions prior which made our stay one of the best vacations to date. Highly reccomend:) I

“Relaxing” My wife and I stayed at Turtle Beach and found it to be more than we expected. The value was perfect for our budget. All the comforts of home were there.Paul and his staff kept the rooms and resort very clean. We were met at the airport and then taken for groceries before going to our rental.Turtle Beach is located half way between West End and West Bay,(about a 10 minute walk ethier way)just enough to keep you away from the hussle and bussle of the two areas.Yet if you wanted to go to ethier it was close. As far as the service went whatever our needs were were met.The entire staff made sure of that.

“An Inspiring Four Days in a Beautiful Jungle Paradise” We just returned from two and half weeks in Honduras in august 2010. We spent four invigorating days in the Cangrejal River Lodge (Villas Pico Bonito). We had only planned on staying three days but couldn't pry ourselves away! Richard and his wife anna built the place and their love for it comes through in every detail. We opted to stay in the Ceiba Tree Lodge and would heartily recommend it. It is a masterpiece. It's like living in a comfortable tree house surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle but with all the comforts of home. We fell in love with the place immediately! The Ceiba Tree and the other lodges are scattered around a compound that is a botanical garden of tropical trees and flowers. There is also a crystal clear infinity pool set above the river and the rainforest beyond. We spent ample time in the pool as well as in the warm Rio Cangrejal flowing by below. After relaxing by the pool on our first day we hiked to the El Bejuco Waterfall and soaked in the spray of the sixty meter falls. The entrance to the trail is over a suspension bridge a short walk from the lodge. The next day we went rafting on the Rio Cangrejal, a trip that Richard helped us organize. That was a thrilling and beautiful ride that also included some cliff jumping. On our last full day we rode the local bus to a small town called Las Mangas and set off on another hike to the village of La Muralla and some fabulous swimming holes. Richard and anna are friendly and helpful hosts. Richard arranged transport for us from the Roatan ferry to his place and back to La Ceiba for our bus connection. We never missed not having our own transportation. Richard will offer advice or will help arrange adventures in the area, or you may just wish to stay close to the pool and soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful place.
