“Highly recommended” We visited Akaslompolo and stayed in the Dasher cabin in December 2013. It really was a fantastic holiday and was so much more than we had expected. Jane was so helpful in helping us organise the holiday and excursions. The cabin was immaculately clean and well appointed and positioned. Akaslompolo itself is really clean and so beautiful. The cabin is well suited for families and has everything you could possibly need. The cabin is in a really great position, right at the edge of some woodland so there is peace and quiet but only a very short walking distance from amenities. In Akaslompolo itself there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to keep you entertained as well as so many different activities. We stayed for a week but could have easily stayed longer and still had plenty to do. The finnish people are so friendly and helpful. I really cannot describe how beautiful the place is, and how wonderful the cabin is. A perfect Christmas holiday. We will definitely be back!

“Nice house in frieandly area.” Our stay in this house was just like staying at home. Just 1 minute to bus stop and 5 minutes to the railway. Pekka ,the owner are very helpful. My family enjoyed the stay in this house very much.
