“This is the place to relax and rejuvinate.” Trip of a lifetime. The beauty and traquillity at the Sekawa Beach Cottages is The Place. The cottage is well appointed and has a cooks kitchen with all the necessities. The cottage has a view of the magnificent nature that is Fiji's calling card. Sitting out on the deck looking down at the ocean below was our favorite past time. The grounds and Cottage are clean as a ribbon inside and out. Can't wait to go back.

“A great place for yoga.” I flew halfway around the world to this paradise on earth for the second time in two years to practice yoga, especially breathing and meditation, in this marvellous place by the ocean. This island in the Pacific Ocean has a big advantage for yoga in that there are no dangerous animals, so we could fully devote ourselves to our exercises. This resort provides beautiful, spotless, fully equipped villas. Further advantages of this resort are that the sea is clean and only a short walk away and the clean swimming pool. The staff are pleasant and helpful and always at hand. I enjoyed my stay very much and would like to go back next year for a third time.

“A paradise home away from home with a world class reef at your d” Our family of four called SigaSiga home for four months in 2009-10 and the Villa was a perfect fit. Beautifully-situated on a lush 119 acres, we found the Villa to be clean and perfect for our needs. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped and the space is cool and comfortable. There is a/c but we chose to keep cool with fans and the gentle breeze blowing through well-screened windows. We spent most of our stay exploring SigaSiga's extensive reef system, which is truly world class. The hardpan is full of interesting critters and offers some really nice beginning snorkeling spots at high tide. (Be sure to pack some reef shoes!) For adventurous and experienced snorkelers, the double-fringe reef is teeming with life. While gorgeous, this is not a beach like you'd find on Grand Cayman or other "tourist beaches." If you are looking for that, you may want to go elsewhere. For reef explorers though, this is paradise. There are a number of beautiful hikes in the neighborhood as well and Koro Sun Resort is a walkable distance away. We preferred visiting Jim and Louise at Yau Kolo Campground, who serve the best and coldest beer around. We relied on the Nagi Nagi bus and reasonably-priced taxis to take us into Savusavu town for supplies. When we didn't feel like cooking, our neighbor and host Sunita Chand provided us with delicious Indian curries, dahl and samosas for a very reasonable fee. We were charmed by our local hosts during our visit. The Chand's are truly lovely people. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them as well as our other Fijian neighbors who live a short distance away. Note that this was the way we wanted it though. The property has changed some since our visit, thanks to weather and landscaping changes, but we couldn't think of any place we'd rather stay upon our planned return to Fiji this summer.

“Perfect” I don't know where to begin, after a 1 hour flight from Nadi International airport we were met immediately at Savusavu airport by a friendly and knowledgeable taxi driver (complimentry). After a scenic ride through Savusavu town we arrived at Bayside Bure. We were greeted by Edward and briefed on the facilities and amenities. The design and decor is top notch and is a great value for any traveler. The paintings by Karen, (our hostess), add a relaxing feeling while indoors. The main room is open and airy with a ocean facing balcony that provides awesome views of Savusavu Bay and breath-taking Fijian sunsets. A short walk leads to an excellent sandy beach that is easily accessible for excellent snorkeling opportunities or just a dip in the ocean to get wet. The long beach is perfect for long morning and evening walks which were always a pleasant experience and also a great way to meet the neighbors. There was also a complimentary double kayak to use at our convenience if we wanted to do more adventurous explorations. Fijians are very friendly & Edward and Karen go above and beyond. I have yet to meet more amazingly generous hosts. From the location to the amenities, we could not find a single item for complaint. In summary, I would definitely recommend the Bayside Bure to a friend or anyone that wants to experience a comfortable, relaxing & trouble free vacation. Vinaka vakalevu!

“Paradise!!!” Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful! They were always checking up on my group to make sure we had everything we needed. When we wanted to do activities or sightsee outside of the resort, the staff would set it all up and drive us to where we wanted to go. The food was amazing. Very delicious and also healthy. Lots of fresh caught fish, and fresh fruits and veggies from the garden they have on site. The property itself is GORGEOUS! The rooms are big and spacious and the bathrooms are huge. Showers are amazing, and there is even a beautiful bathtub. This place is paradise!! I would highly recommend it! Perfect for couples, groups of friends, families with young children.
