We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a week in Gran Canaria. There was a lovely warm welcome from Sella. Fataga is a lovely little village and the bungalows are situated on a smallholding 10 mins walk along a track from the village centre.
We were invited to help ourselves to fruit and vegetables from the garden and in fact there was a welcome basket of home-grown produce in the bungalow waiting for us.
It was bliss relaxing on our terrace in a hammock in the sunset.
The bungalow itself was well equipped with a hob, fridge and microwave. The bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water for showers. The bed complete with mosquito net was very comfortable and there was no evidence of mozzies during our visit.
Guests can join yoga sessions daily at 9am although this is optional and we weren't pressured to attend. Maxime the yoga teacher was v friendly when we met him too.
We visited the pig, sheep and hens who also live there and were made most welcome :).
The village restaurant/bars looked nice and menus were available in English and German as well as Spanish.
It's a great location to drive further up into the mountains for hiking, or road cycling if you dare.
Only half an hour from Maspalomas but a world away in feeling.
I hope to return soon! …
