“Beautiful chalet in beautiful Kilmore Quay!” My friend and I stayed for a week in Windy Neuk in July... everything was just as described on website but extra touches were the great welcome we got from our hosts Georgina & Ian.. they made sure we had everything we needed and we got a lovely surprise with the cookies & jam when we arrived! The chalet is perfectly placed in a quiet area with everything within easy walking distance.. the harbour, beach, restaurants & supermarket just a few minutes away.. Lovely outdoor patio to relax in the sun ( if you are lucky!) Thank you Georgina & Ian.. we will be back Marie & Mary

“Great Escape at the Dunes” Stayed at the magical 'Dunes' cottage in March and the weather was kind to me and the family which made the experience one to remember. The cottage is of the period and very clean with everything having a place and function. The romance of the nicely appointed rooms, and lovely fire in the lounge made the time spent indoors very special as the kids played board games, watched movies and surfed the net with the excellent Wi-Fi. With the beach literally on your front step it made it very easy to keep the kids entertained and on the dunes (lovely white sand 30ft high and full of adventure for children) they found great adventure. For myself and my wife we really enjoyed the unspoilt 8km of sand for walks and fresh air. Overall a lovely place to unwind and relax, with the lovely village of Curracloe nearby with choice of places to eat & drink (the hotel is family friendly and provides good food and choice for all), I would recommend a stay for a romantic getaway or a family activity weekend!!

“Excellent holiday” We stayed for a week at Millknock Farm with family; 4 children and 5 adults. The house was very clean upon arrival, the beds were comfy, the showers were great, everything was there that we needed. The scones, jam, butter and milk were a lovely welcome. The house is very peaceful and we felt very comfortable in it. The area is beautiful; lots to explore. We particularly enjoyed the Irish heritage centre, rosslare strand beach, rostoonstown beach and hook head lighthouse. I would return to the house and would recommend it.

“Lovely house” The house is great, 5 decent bedrooms, and acres of space downstairs , we were a group of 10, 6 adults and 4 younger kids, and we really enjoyed the space both inside and space for kids either out on the deck or playing in the play area. There are no front gates so important to keep a good eye on younger ones but overall good room for a group of that size or bigger. You can see the sea in the distance which is nice. The house is approx half way between kilmuckridge village and Morriscastle beach, even though neither are too far we found we drove as it wasn't practical to walk with small children on small country roads and no paths. We didn't have to travel too far for entertainment, Wells house is only 10 mins drive which is nice family spot with walks (fans of the gruffalo books will spot characters dotted around the walks). Courtown about 20min drive with some kiddie entertainment or Kia ora pet farm was a nice day out too. If weather is good the beach at Morriscastle is lovely and sandy proper beach. If the weather is bad there are loads of board games, lego , some dvds and computer games etc in the house for people to entertain themselves, even a choice of books left in case you didn't bring one. The owner and local contact for the owner were both very nice and helpful if any issues arise. In conclusion the accommodation suited us very well, and offered more space than having to rent two smaller holiday homes.

“Perfect location for a young family.” We (Mum, Dad, and two small girls) have stayed in Kilmore Cottage two years in a row now, and it's been a great experience both times. The house has ample supplies of everything you could conceivably need, and it's obviously been carefully considered. John and Helen are extremely friendly, welcoming, and very gracious hosts. There's a safe green space in front of the houses for the kids to play on, and a range of outdoor toys - not to mention the chickens and the fun of checking for eggs every day! The location of the cottages is superb, it's just a short drive from Kilmore Quay, and a two minute walk to Kilmore village. Wexford town is only half an hour away, and the rest of the south east is easily in reach with a range of beaches and family friendly activities. We've been very lucky with the weather both times we've stayed here, and were able to spend quite a bit of time on some of the great beaches around Wexford.
