“Very comfortable and nice place” We stayed there on the 4th of July week in 2013. It is a little bit tricky to find since the GPS gives wrong route, but the owner explained to me how to get there when I reserved the place, so it was my own fault of not listening. Very clean place, very helpful hosts. Thank you for letting us spend an excellent week in the area.

“A very relaxing week on the lake.” We have been visiting the area since childhood and this was the most enjoyable ever. The cottage is perfect for relaxing by lake and leaving our busy lives behind. We were able to keep our boat docked all week thanks to the lift available. The lake provided us dinner on several evenings. Kevin and Kelly were very accommodating and suggested many local attractions in the area. We enjoyed their hospitality and hope to spend more summers in the cottage.

“Perfect place to unwind and enjoy fishing.” We have been going to Tesla Lodge for over 10 years and love the lake. The package includes the plane trip to the lake, the cabin, boats at all three lakes, a smoker and a beauitful lake. The fishing can be slow at times but when you catch a fish they are large and put up a fight. The view from the cabin is awesome, I can and have spent hours just sitting on the deck and enjoying being alive in this beauitful place on earth. We have seen moose, goats and grizzlies. The eagle and loons are also there to welcome us back. The cabin has everything you could need on a remote lake. Hot water, stove, refrigerator, wood stove with lot of wood for the cooler evenings. We have picked huckberries for our pancakes. Nic and Mary are awesome to work with and have always been great to us. I would recommend this lake to anyone who wants to catch big fish and get away from it all.

“Rest and relaxation welcomed” Rental of cabin at Moyie Lake was a great decision. We had al that we wanted for our week long vacation right at our fingertips. Comfort in the cabin, a great view, and plenty of time at/in the water.Great way to get away right after school let out for the kids and to get out of the work grind for myself.

“Fantastic” Our week on alcatraz Island was a fabulous experience. The nature in this area is breathtaking. Water all around is making soothing sounds along with wind in the trees and bird singing. The cottage is very comfortable, well kept, clean and well equipped. The location is very private and secluded. We swam,canoed,kayaked and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Vacation to remember.

“Spectacular wilderness get away...refreshing” I was vacationing along with 5 family members from all across Canada. We arrived after a beautiful scenic drive from Calgary to be welcomed by Barbara in a way that we felt home, safe and amoung family. The log cabins are spectacular, very clean and everything you need to be comfortable. The view from every window was breathtaking and different and even when the cows come visiting you are happy to see them. The cabins are located off the main highway near Lumby BC but not to the point of feeling isolated. The drive up the mountain to Bear Valley is breath taking and exciting, up-down and around but more than worth the climb. We spent a week of what I would call inner peace and tranquility just having fun with each other, nights of non-stop talking and laughing, running into the cabin when suspicious noice heard by side of the cabin or miserious noices coming from the meadows. Life is good in the wild. Then came Barbara on two occassions with wonderful homemake cake which we all fought for the last morsels. Barbara & Jurgen her husband made us feel like one of the family giving us greens from their organic garden and the pleasure of meeting Wanya their dog who also made our stay that much more memorable(visited on a day basis). If getting away from computer/cell phones and spending memorable time making wonderful memories with loved ones this is the place... Thank you Barabara ans Jurgen and my family will definitely be back in the near future.

“Gorgeous! Looking forward to our next visit.” We stayed here for a week. It was a lovely place for us the stay. The kids had a wonderful time playing around the garden. It is a lovely garden with many paths leading here and there to traverse. There are many lovely places to sit and enjoy the view or simply to take a casual stroll though and enjoy the serenity. So first the gardens are wonderful. The amount of work to maintain these is wonderful and I really enjoyed talking with Diana about different aspects of gardening. She gave us a tour all around and we all enjoyed that. The house is older and has lots of charm. The kids loved the bedrooms upstairs. The one is smaller and just seemed the right size for the little ones. All the bed were very comfortable and had lovely bedding, nice smooth sheets and down duvets. We were all very comfortable at night. The kitchen was great the stove and fridge worked well and there was lots of pots and pans for us to use. There is a BBQ and outdoor grill also available. Great for cooking crabs! The view from the property is breathtaking. Its been a couple weeks now and I still miss sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Such a lovely relaxing place to stay. We look forward to our next trip. Lastly the jewel of the Boxwood Cottage is Diana herself. She is right next door if you need any info but I never felt that she was intrusive. Very quickly I felt like we were visiting an old friend. She is very busy with the gardens and keeping up the property but was always willing to chat with us and even joke a little with the kids. Looking forward to going back again soon!
