“Fantastic!” From the avacado/mango dip and pina coladas on arrival to our last taxi ride back to the airport, this was a great vacation for our group of 5 couples. The villa lived up to our expectations and more - the beds were comfortable, the a/C cooling and the views to die for! The staff kept everything clean and inviting. We spent many hours on both verandas enjoying the breeze, views and adult beverages. The food - what to say - everything was absolutely delicious! We told Maria to make whatever she wanted to make with an emphasis on seafood and we were not disappointed. She was especially accommodating to one of our group members who follows a gluten free diet. The only meals (2 lunches) we did not eat at the villa were those that were included in our tours. Maria and her helpers work hard at making your stay very memorable and they were successful with us! Our excursions with Suya tours were also great. Carlos, Allen, Gavino and their crews made snorkeling easy and the ruins very interesting. We even got to pet a nurse shark! We rented one golf cart which allowed us to take turns at trips into town. Our 3 "pool days" were certainly relaxing and fun as we took walks, swam, read and napped the day away. The color of the water cannot be accurately captured in pictures - it was gorgeous - and the roar of the waves on the reef was amazing. All in all a fantastic vacation at a fantastic villa!

“AMAZING!!” Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few days in October and it was absolutely amazing! The location was the absolute best! Right on the beach and the people in Placencia are the nicest people you will meet! We needed a place short notice and Kay was very quick in replying to our request for a reservation! I wish we could have met Kay while were staying there, but Carolyn took great care of us! We cannot wait to get back here for another vacation and one day permanently! We fell in love with this small and homey village and home to call it home one day! Thank you Kay for having a wonderful piece of property and for letting us stay! I've already started recommending your place to friends and family to check out!

“Very enjoyable like living at home” Recently I stayed at this location for the second time. Each stay was enjoyable (real home living). The owners treated you as valuable guest providing the services as promised. I plan on staying there again in the near future. It's like home (away from home).

“It couldn't possibly have been more perfect!” From the minute we boarded "Doris" and were promptly created with a warm welcome from Captain Cliff-- he simply said, "Welcome home," we knew we'd made the right choice. My wife and I were treated like royalty; the staff was very attentive to every need and seemed to intuitively know what would make each moment more perfect and delivered right on cue. Doris is a beautiful boat. In fact, Captain Cliff was doing some maintenance work on some of the other boats in the fleet when we arrived and was nice enough to give us a tour-- we would have been perfectly happy on any of them, but Doris is the flagship, luxury experience-- it's your personal 5 star floating hotel. We spent three days sailing the Cayes from Belize City to abergris Caye; Captain Cliff knew exactly where the best spots were to fish, snorkel, swim with manatees-- you name it; this crew knows there stuff. Every day was greeted with some great options and we simply had to choose what we felt like crossing off our bucket lists for the day. Anyone up for swimming with sharks-- there's an app for that; if turtles are more your pace-- they've got that covered too! This is quite possibly the best vacation we've had in years. I don't know how we'll ever top it! I don't think I'll try; I'm just going to book another trip on Doris next year!!! David M. San Francisco, Ca
