“The best place to stay in russell!” Mix the character of the original 19th century home, with a modern interior. Splash in the ultimate location and a surprisingly modest rate and we found the best place to stay in Russell. Being right on the water front in the middle of Russell, you have easy access to everything, including russells best restaurant "the Gables Restaurant", which is literally downstairs, and this was by far the highlight of our trip to the Far North. The hosts were very accomodating with regard to check-in & out times. My only point for improvement was lack of parking at the premisis. Highly Recommended!

“A bit of heaven on Bay of Islands” Maureen and Ron Redwood share with their guests a B&B; which is equivalent to a 5 star hotel. It is basically a whole house with complete kitchen, well stocked for breakfast which you prepare when you wish it. Use it the rest of the day to cook, or warm up your own food. Your hosts can answer virtually any question about the area, and will book any trips or excursions for you. Their hospitality even extended to flying a Canadian flag for us to make us feel even more at home!
