“Truly Fantastic” The house is absolutely wonderful, and a very nice reprise from the city streets of Barcelona, without being very far away. The kitchen is perfection, and its bedrooms are peaceful, with plenty of sunlight. Be sure to to walk around Les Planes while you are there. A nice Sunday stroll to its peak will feel exhilarating, and a few dogs may join you along the way.
“Remarkably” We had a fabulous time -- the apartment was every bit as wonderful in real life as in the photos.Ideally located in a very nice and modern district Diagonal del Mar in Barcelona.
The owner of the apartment David is quite hospitable. He prepared for us all instructions conserning restaurants, sightseeings and useful links for our entertaiment .We had really splendid time in this apartment and in Barcelona in general!
David made the rental process flawless!
“Our fourth stay here” We spent two weeks at Sweet Home Barcelona during august and being our fourth stay here, we find the name of the apartments so apt. We never tire of exploring Barcelona and to have this apartment as our base in this city, makes the whole holiday experience extra special. Isabel and Mike are superb hosts and the little touches, like a bunch of flowers on arrival, as well as some goodies in the fridge, are thoughtful and welcoming. The beds are superbly comfortable, the wifi works well, and the kitchen is equipped with all the required utensils. Not to mention how spotlessly clean it is on arrival. And finally, the location is the clincher for us to return again and again. Looking forward to next year already!
“Ideal location!” Our host, Isabela, was also ideal. She spoke excellent English and knew the neighborhood and city. She had a book containing information about how to use all appliances, maps, dining and tourist suggestions. And she was available by phone at any time.
The apartment was spacious and had an interesting modern decor. There were original paintings on the wall.
Air conditioning worked well.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor (American), 1st floor in Spain. There is a 2-3 person elevator which comes quickly.
It was very convenient to La Rambla/Gothic section and the upscale shopping area, but it had a distinct neighborhood feel.
We found some delightful surprises upon arrival: a bottle of Champagne and a liter of milk in the refrigeratory, and a Nespresso coffee maker and 5 pods ready to go. We had to supply our own shampoo and laundry detergent.
I also thought it was a great value, considering we would have had to rent 2 hotel rooms otherwise.
