“Excellent accomdation with superb hosts - just what we were look” This accommodation was excellent and just what we were looking for. We had researched many of the larger hotel resort type complexes on lots of different Islands across the Caribbean but preferred something more personal and less crowded and that exactly what we got with Gabby and Douglas at Yepton Cottages. Our cottage was very comfortable with a nice kitchen and living room area and an excellent veranda overlooking the lake. You could hear the sound of the sea from here and see the palm trees that indicated the back of the beach (less than a 5 minute walk away). This was an excellent place to start the day with breakfast outside. The only downside to the accommodation was the mosquitoes that would gather by the lights on our veranda once the sun went down. Obviously a certain level of mosquitoes is to be expected in the Caribbean but I think being by the lake made this worse at night. Gabby and Douglas were the perfect hosts - very helpful and incredibly welcoming. For instance on our first day in antigua Douglas spent a long time giving us some excellent advice on where to visit and what to see. And then Gabby drove us into town so we could do our food shopping for the week and even gave us the free use of a mobile phone for week. This sort of personalised treatment made us feel more like one of the family than a paying guest. Overall, I would definitely recommend Yepton Cottages, especially if you're looking for a holiday in the Caribbean without having to go down the all-inclusive, package holiday type experience. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean, reasonably priced and with excellent hosts. We had a great week and were very sad to leave!

“Best place to stay when visiting Barbados” This is a very comfotable place to stay. The host/owner is very friendly and always available when requested upon. This place is a beautiful place to rest after a day out of fun. The bedrooms are clean and the beds makes you feel like if you were sleeping at home. The kitchen and the utensils provided were of clean standards, the bathroom and living room were also pleasant. The location is approximately 10 minutes from the airport as well as the famous Crane Hotel. It is also situated in a quiet and small residential area in St. Phillip.
