“Lovely apartment, Fabulous views.” We had a lovely stay in Roquetas and were very grateful to the owner's relatives who came to our rescue. Unfortunately we had suffered a puncture in Roquetas after picking up the hire car from the airport and had to wait 3 hours for a replacement tyre. We were so grateful when Sayah kindly came and picked up our children and took them to the pool to relax. She also kindly left us water and fruit - much needed after a journey. The apartment provided all that a family of four needed and the most wonderful balcony with a fantastic view of the seascape and surrounding mountains. The apartment was very secure within a Spanish family gated community, 5 minutes walk from shops, supermarkets and restaurants. There is a water park 3 km away and mini Hollywood makes a good day out. You can reach Almeria easily by bus - so car hire isn't necessary. We had fabulous food, balmy nights with starry skies, swimming in the pool at night. We had a thoroughly relaxing time and hope to return again one day.
