Our pretty Villa is located on the rural west bank of Luxor, Egypt, just minutes from the river Nile and the tombs and temples and Valley of the Kings. It is a peaceful little oasis at the end of a day sightseeing - the ideal place to rest and relax. We have beautiful large tropical gardens with shaded seating areas.

The rural feel of the West Bank is a welcome change from the hussle of the touristy east bank with the cruise boats and huge hotels. The location makes it especially good for women or single travellers who want to avoid the hassle of the busier areas.

Villa Bahri has been finished to high standards whilst feeling homely and comfortable and is tastfully decorated in arabesque style. It is maintained to western standards of cleanliness. We are an English/Egyptian partnership and can assure you of our help and hospitality. We are proud of our five star reviews and that many of our guests have chosen to return. Our aim is to give you the holiday of your dreams as you discover the charms of Luxor.

We have the two bedroomed garden apartment for rent. The large living area and open kitchen has a large front verandah overlooking the garden and a rear balcony with steps down the the beautiful orchard. It is furnished comfortably and has aircon and fans

The double bedroom is at the rear and has aircon. The twin bedroom is at the front.

The kitchen has a full size cooker, fridge freezer and all the pots and pans you could wish

Luxor is a wonderful place to visit and not just for the history. It is a haven for birdwatchers and provides unlimited inspiration for the artist and photographer. The mighty River Nile is ideal for fishing trips, There are endless walks in the mountains, or try horse riding in the desert. Or just relax in the year round sunshine.

Ahmed, the Egyptian partner has lived on the west bank all his life and has his finger of the pulse here! He is a qualified Felluca boat captain, owns a private hire care, speaks excellent english and is a qualified tour guide. He can arrange any trips and excursions for you including more unusual ones such as overnight desert safari and diving trips to the red sea.

Why can't I call Ahmed (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ahmed (the owner) a message.

If Ahmed (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
