From the owner

Beach House Accommodation near McLaren Vale. Our 3 bedroom house is by the beach and 5 minutes from McLaren Vale. It is fully self contained - all you require are your own personal items. House can sleep 6 adults and 4 children but no. of adults can be negotiated. Our house is opposite a reserve which you can walk down to beach on - the beach is only 100m away. Maslin Beach has the feel of a country town but is a residential suburb of Adelaide.

Property is available for short and long term bookings - minimum 2 nights.

Only a 40-45 minute drive to Adelaide CBD and a few minutes drive to McLaren Vale. Ideally situated between Adelaide and Victor Harbor which makes it a perfect location to visit lots of destinations in either direction.

Our house has been used by a number of families for longer stays of 1 to 3 months from England, Ireland and Holland while they have been looking to find more permanent accommodation and also to help decide if they would like to migrate to Adelaide or other areas of South Australia. During there stay they have been able to enjoy a holiday by the beach at the same time. Contact us for a negotiated price for longer stays of more than 2 weeks.

There is so much to do in the southern suburbs. The McLaren Vale Cellar Doors are just a few minutes drive away. Willunga has a great golf course and there is the Willunga Farmers Market every Saturday between 8am and 12.30pm and every 2nd Saturday Willunga hosts the Willunga Quarry Market and the Willunga Artisan Market between 9am and 1pm.

Fully furnished house with all bed linen and towels provided. Self catering accommodation and for longer stays of more than a week extra towels and bed linen provided.

Bond of $300 required. We are accredited with the South Australian Tourism Commission. This is refunded next business day once you have vacated and house checked is OK and return of keys.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rita (the owner) a message.

If Rita (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
