Neptune Home is the perfect location for people who want to explore Caetown and surroundings during their holiday.
It is the idea place for a family, a couple or small group of friends who enjoy relaxing in a quiet, secluded hide away while enjoying unsurpassed views over False Bay.
The house is recently renovated and has all the facilities you may need. The garden is totally private and safe.

Simons Town, an old naval town that is rich in history, is only 1 km away, It offers many small boutique shops and fine restaurants as well as a naval museum. The harbour is home to the South African Navy, as well as to fishermen and many sailing yachts. It is the starting place for many excursions, sea trips and other activities. In addition there are several beautiful, secluded and safe beaches in Simons Town. The well known penguin colony is about 4 km away.
All around Simons Town are national parks, ideal for hiking or picnicking.

Cape Town is an easy 30-45 minute drive away via scenic roads and /or highways. In addition there is a regular train service from Simon Town to the centre of Cape Town. The closest winelands Constantia wine route) are a mere 15 minutes away and besides wine tasting they offer great culinary experiences. Stellenbosch, with its abundance of wine estates, is about 60 km away, and can be reached via freeway or via a scenic coastal road

The peninsula itself is a wonder of nature that beckons to be explored. It's rolling mountains, beautiful beaches, little villages, fynbos vegetation and varied wild life are a continuous source of amazement and joy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Marijke (the owner) a message.

If Marijke (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
