Activities

The beaches of Torrevieja have held European blue flag for clean seas for several years, awarded for their quality and excellent facilities. During the day Torrevieja also offers a range of leisure and entertainment areas. As well as its beaches and numerous terraces along its maritime promenade, its great waterpark Aquópolis is swarming with families, young people and children during the summer months. The local street market is an alternative to traditional commerce and offer some very good buys in terms of clothing, local craft and textiles. The street markets have a real arab-style market atmosphere and have achieved great popularity amongst the Spanish and the thousands of Europeans that visit Torrevieja.
