About the home

Visit our website for great guest reviews in 2011. Our 2 bedroom spacious and modern apartment is situated in a lovely location with sea views and is only a 15 minute stroll or a 4 minute drive to the beach. Recently redecorated, new leather sofas, bed linen and sun-loungers.

Set in a beautiful complex with well kept communal gardens and off road parking for one car, we have the added luxury of having 2 very quite communal pools, in the high season they is a lifeguard in both pools. Secure and private.

Our apartment is the ideal home in the sun, and for those winter holidays. The large terrace is great for eating alfresco.

Playa Flamenca is a lovely community, with lots to do for young and old alike. It is a quiet place to live, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars close enough to be a lively holiday if you want it to be.

Torrevieja is renowned for its large inland salt lakes, and has the best climate in the Costa Blanca. There are certain areas where you can go and bathe in the lakes, and the mud is said to be beneficial for all sorts of medical complaints, such as arthritis and eczema. Best of all its free to do this!!!

There is a local market in Torreveija every week, and is worth visiting, but the best and largest street market is in Playa Flamenca every Saturday (only a 3 minute walk from the apartment), perfect for buying presents.

Even when you are tired of the beach and pool, you can find lots to do in the local area, and if you like shopping!!! Well, there's lots to see in Torrevieja town, which has the most amazing clothes shops. The shoes are fantastic, and as for the furnishings....

The apartment has 2 double bedrooms and one large bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is fully tiled and has a full size bath, shower, washbasin, bidet and WC.

The living /dining room has new leather 3 and 2 seater sofas, a dining table and four chairs.

If you are booking for a special occasion, then please let me know and I will arrange the balloons and Champagne, however I do recommend the Cava which is really nice and great value for money.

We have a lovely couple who look after our villa and apartment, David and Shirley, they are very helpful and if you need any assistance while you are on holiday they are on hand.

If you decide not to hire a car, airport transfers can be arranged.

Conditions

To book our apartment

£100 sterling deposit is required within 3 days of booking.

£100 key/security payment, this is refunded in full when the keys are returned and subject to there being no damage reported.

The balance together with the key/security payment to be paid 6 weeks before your travel date.

There is a charge of £25 for the air conditioning, please indicate on the booking form if you require this.

Upon Arrival
There is a 55 EURO cleaning and laundry charge. This is NOT included in the rental rate but paid locally on arrival to our key holders. This is for the clean after your stay.

Bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided.


Please obtain your own comprehensive insurance cover as we cannot be held responsible for injury, loss, damage, cancellations, delay etc. However, in the event of cancellation by us (the owners) then all monies will be refunded.

The apartment will be ready for occupation at 4pm on the day of arrival and guests must check out by 11am on day of departure We take bookings for holidays on any day of the week. Short breaks and odd durations can be accommodated.

15 minute walk, (4 min drive) to the nearest beach; which is a BLUE FLAG beach - Playa Flamenca, awarded again this year in May 2011.
At least 4 beaches within 15 minutes drive.
Golf courses galore! 126 holes to play within 30 minutes drive.
You can walk to the shops and restaurants nearby, with a huge choice, and reasonable prices.
Shops 2-3 minutes away.

The Torrevieja Area / Playa Flamenca area

Local Water Park in Torrevieja - much cheaper than Benidorm!
Bowling alley near "Carrefour" hypermarket in town
English Cinema near "Carrefour" - in large shopping centre with gorgeous shops!
Central children's park with boat rides and playground in Torrevieja
Go-Karts on Main A332 for all kids over 4yrs (5 minute drive or they will collect you)
Further a field there is Cartagena an historical town
Further inland, Elche another historical beauty
Rio Safari Park near Elche is a good day out with its own pool
Alicante is great for designer shopping at good prices
The rest of the picturesque Costa Blanca is within easy reach with a car, and great for exploring the culture

We had an excellent time; the apartment was first class and couldn't fault it if I tried.
It was so peaceful and quiet around the apartments; the swimming pool was also great and never more than 1 family in it. Spoilt for choice with the food from the Square and never had a bad meal. All in all we had a great time and have no hesitation recommending it to everyone. In fact I have already started. Thanks for a lovely holiday and we will be in touch again.

I have been to your apartment in Spain with my 19 year old son and 14 year old daughter. We loved it there. Honestly ! the set up you have is wonderful. We were made very welcome by Shirley who met us at the airport at Alicante. We were driven to the apartment and the place was spotless, cool (with air conditioning) and bright. There was food in the fridge and wine on the table. I was impressed by the regular communication by you explaining everything in detail to us before the trip.
