About the home
Beautiful four persons chalet, built in Savoyard style. The chalet was completely renovated in 2008/2009, into a nice, comfortable and luxurious chalet. The chalet is located in a small chalet park 150 meters from the village of Vallandry and the ski lift / slope. It has a sunny location and a perfect view across the Tarentaise valley, Mont Blanc and the glacier Bellecôte.
You enter the chalet on the top floor through the hall with toilet and wardrobe. Then you enter the living room with open kitchen. The living room has a fireplace and patio doors to balcony with lovely views. There is a television with satellite receiver, and a DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with oven / microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and induction cooker.The ground floor has a large bathroom with bath and shower, sink, toilet and a washer / dryer combination. Furthermore, there are two spacious bedrooms with four single beds and wardrobes. The beds can be combined as double bed. One of the bedrooms has a bathroom with sink and shower. All rooms have underfloor heating and radiators. The chalet is provided with free WiFi.
The chalet has a spacious terrace to enjoy the sunshine. On the side of the chalet there is a ski locker to store your skis.

The Vallandry-Les Arcs / Vallandry area
Vallandry is located at the heart of the Savoie at a height of 1600 meters and at the edge of the National Park La Vanoise, a beautiful 61000 ha national reserve and the first national park of France.
It also lies in the heart of one of the biggest connected skiing areas of Europe, Paradiski, with a total of 425 km of skiing slopes.
Vallandry is a cosy mountain village with shops, restaurants, bars and a movie theatre, where, because of the small-scale and traditional construction, there is still a village atmosphere present.
Winter:
Vallandry belongs to the top three of the world’s biggest skiing areas. Since 2003 the cabin lift, La Vanoise, has connected the skiing areas La Plagne and Les Arcs, which it bridges in only 4 minutes. Because of this connection a great skiing area has been created, carrying the name Paradiski. And a paradise it is! With a total 425 km of slopes and containing two glaciers, the Aiguille Rouge and the Bellecote. The area is located at heights between 1250 and 3250 meters. With two peaks above 3000 meters and 80% of the 240 descents above 2000 meters, snow is practically a guarantee. But during the winter there is so much more to do than just downhill skiing, like cross-country skiing or a sleigh ride.
Summer:
Vallandry is not just a great place to stay during the winter, it also has a lot to offer during the summer. Most of the time there is warm weather during the day, while it cools down at night. It is a great place to find your peace, but with all the activities and sports you can do in the mountains it can also be an active stay. Such as mountain biking, swimming, rafting, hiking, climbing.
