Situated just a short 5 minute walk to Valbonne village, this beautiful villa is set in lush Provencal gardens with a secluded pool.

The villa has a large open plan living and dining room, with direct access to a terrace and cosy covered courtyard. It boasts plenty of original features, with chimneys inside and out, as well as Provencal stone walls.

In the well-manicured garden you'll find many sunny terraces as well as a large outdoor kitchen containing gas bbq, sideburner, fridge and decked seating area. There is also a heated swimming-pool and a boules court surrounded with plenty of Provencal plants and olive-trees. The garden is predominately flat and boasts incredible views of the mountains in the distance.

The entrance to the property is gated, providing secure and covered parking. Although close to the village it is incredibly quiet and peaceful.

Inside the villa, there are 3 bedrooms and a bunk bed room for 2 people; 2 of the bedrooms have ensuites and there is an additional shower room. There is also a toilet and shower located next to the swimming pool. On the spacious landing of the master bedroom there is a study space with a desk and sofa to either work or unwind, away from the rest of the house. To easily accommodate extra guests, one of the sofas in the sitting room can be turned into a large double bed.

For added flexibility, the second bedroom's kingsize bed can easily be split into two twin beds with headboards.

The top-spec kitchen is well equipped with an electric AGA containing gas hobs, skillet and electric oven compartments. To the rear of the kitchen is a light and airy breakfast room with TV. Outside the kitchen, you will find a covered courtyard with a comfortable outside sofa and dining area, which is lit by two large chandeliers and perfect for large group dinners.

At the back of the house, you'll find the master bedroom, king/twin bedroom and also the landing area. In the sitting room there is a snug lounge area, with two 3-seater sofas and 2 comfy arm chairs. There's a 32" widescreen internet TV and a DVD player. There is a good selection of DVD's to use for all age-ranges. Also in the sitting room is a dining area, with a table that can extend to seat up to 12 people.

The stunning master bedroom, accessible from both outside and inside (via an internal wooden staircase) has a spacious ensuite bathroom with toilet, shower, bath, twin-sinks. Attached to the master is a room with two integrated bunk beds and wardrobes, perfect for children. You can use the patio at the back of the master bedroom to read and relax and the two sets of patio doors allow you to open straight onto the pool area.

The pool is heated and secured with an alarm which conforms to the latest French security requirements. The sun-trapped position of the pool means it's an idea spot for sunbathing throughout summer. It sits hidden below well-manicured shrubbery and has sun loungers beside it. If you wish to stay out of the sun there is a parasol covered lounging area on the opposite side and another covered patio area outside the master bedroom.

The property also has fully-integrated air conditioning, with separate controls in every room.

In addition to the outside dining and BBQ areas, there is a small sun terrace nestled above the swimming pool, surrounded by ivy and accessible from both inside and outside. On the terrace is a four person dining table with parasol. This vantage point provides great mountain views in the distance.

Valbonne village is located within easy reach of all local attractions; just 25 minutes to Nice Cote-D'Azur Airport, 20 minutes to the nearest beaches and within reach of the first slopes of the southern alps. The village itself is famous for its lively restaurants, great shops, boutiques and deli’s. Being such a short walk from the main square, the property allows you to relax and enjoy the local lifestyle without the need to drive anywhere if you so wish. That said, when you do wish to venture out the house is close to something for everyone; walks, beaches, shopping, lakes, fishing and so on.

When you arrive at the Villa you will be greeted by our host, who will walk you through everything you need to know and provide a contact point throughout your stay. If you decide to take the villa for a two week or longer period, the linens will be changed on a weekly basis, with a cleaning service also provided.

How do damage deposits work?

If Philip (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
